I have always wanted braids but dont want to unintentionally offend anyone, now a days that's almost impossible. Can any woman of color please tell me if It is something that would be considered bad? I just think they're beautiful.
Im not a woman of color and i mean no ignorance, but ive found it easier and less offensive to have a friend of color who you can pay for her services. I will never understand why anyone would get offended because you asked if they could work on white girl hair or any other different ethnicities texture but ive been tossed out of plenty of salons wanting cornrows but been told i was ignorant for asking if they would work on my hair. Have a friend who can help you find someone or who can do it themself. Always pay for your cornrows and braids even from your friends.
