i totally agree with you.. thats why knetz have low votes for him cause of the lack connection as he never speaks korean, i hope he will try to engage in his kfans in their language since he badly needed the votes to rise up again.. plus that one time opportunity in performing fantasy with FB top 12 rank in musicCore ( was so sad not seeing him performing ) he was not present due to his other commitments..he has a long way to achieve a solid spot on top ranks, needs more practice but if he gets a higher fan votes he will have time to practice more and i really hope hell improve. Btw, i also notice that he has small airtime in episodes, which would supposedly highlight his personality…

For honestly, Santa's air time in program is less and less. His less appearance on scenes affects to fans' attention and notice that he's still in the program. To MBC, although Santa doesn't speak Korean well right now. It doesn't mean he should get less air time. All fans for each boy need to watch their main on creen, keep this in your mind.
The show is to bias and promotes to much unhealthy rivalry between trainees, I mean how can they form a group with good chemistry when they are trying hard to out perform each other, Some trainees even bluntly shows how selfish they are, I don't have high hope for this shows Debut group If ever Santa debut or not with this show he wont take a lost..

If Santa doesn't debut the debut group will have no hype whatsoever internationally. Since it's pretty much clear their views on youtube and overall engagement across all their social media is way lesser than boys planet. Like literally their Performance clips barely reach a 100K. Most people are claiming the show is so boring they've stopped watching which honestly the show is indeed boring. I don't think even their Korean audience is that much.. The only internationally recognizable face is Santa who has an established fanbase

I really feel like the show is using Santa to attract audiences without giving him a chance. He never shows it behind the scenes. I am very disappointed with the procedure and the show.

Take a closer look at each episode and content on RUclips and you will see who the company is promoting and who is being pushed out of the picture. Yes, it's an international show, but it seems that only Korean trainees get "speaking parts". The rest are being pushed out. No exposure no chance for fans to get to know them and vote for them.
So true. They also did not expose Santa that much on the previous episodes, I hardly saw his face, and they're not interviewing him like the others. If this is an international show, at least make some effort to translate.

My concern for this kind of survival show is, at the end, the remaining participants to debut are kinda the same or have almost similar range in skills or expertise. I watched my teenage girl, I'm also quite happy for them that debuted but I want them to be diverse. I want someone with deep voice, someone who hits the high notes, someone that is veeerryyy good at dancing, someone that is excellent in rapping and can compose his own rap, someone who can be very cute and someone will be the hot member, something like that. I hope to see a group with different charisma and expertise that they don't overshadow the other members. And it's hard to achieve that if it is something like this. Anyway, I hope Santa debut, he just got that unique charisma in him that this show failed or don't want to demonstrate.

Tbh I think a lot of Santa fans have stopped voting and watching because they don’t want him in this group after seeing all the things wrong with this production and the attitudes of the possible members. I’ve noticed online they’ve just silently stopped promoting the show
i did the same, as Santa fan even tho i know it is his dream but i think its better for him not debutting here, so i just stopped voting after i saw the entire program system and i felt so bad for him
This also a possibility. Cuz if he got that 40% global votes, he at least should be mid rank. The fact that he's at the bottom rank with benefit, there's a chance even his fans are dropping him.
Honestly even without that the show is very boring. I've stopped watching the show coz the subtitles are so late and the show is a snoozefest. Only getting updates here and there for Santa . If he gets eliminated I'd probably stop even getting updates
No there are still a huge number of Santa fans who are voting daily for him because we want to keep supporting him in his dream. A few might have stopped. But most of us are still doing it & urging others to aswell on all SNS

the reason why santa’s rank drop so low is because people starting to watch this show and vote recently, also his screentime isnt much and there are a lot of outstanding unexpected performances in others trainees. It’s a true result. I hope people dont spread hate much
Yeah, personally Santa was never my pick but I was rooting for him to get better because I knew he had popularity (popularity that would benefit a debuting group) but his fans need to take consideration that they are not the only ppl watching this show and the majority will have an unbiased opinion towards him seeing how he lacked so much compared to others. I expected his rank to drop, however I did not expect it to drop this drastically considering he had benefits. I do think that if he gets eliminated next round the judges will save him. Cus Soyeon did it last season knowing that having a popular member is also beneficial despite skill level

By throwing him in 29 i think they want us to panic vote and then in the finale throw him out. I want him to debut but at the same time, I don't want him to debut with the problematic Trainees all over in the show. Bluntly showing racism and saying ignorant words for other trainees. Most of the Trainees are so selfish. Yes it is a competition, but don't stamp on other trainees to get your wishes. You can clearly see how some of the international trainees are being treated by both Trainees and production. It is so BIASED.. nothing more to say.
방청까지 다녀왔는데 산타는 진짜 데뷔하면 안 됨.... 애초에 한국말을 조금도 못한다는 것부터가 데뷔 자질 부족임. 그냥 하던대로 배우 하면 되고, 팬들도 연기하는 산타 모습에 만족하는 게 모두에게 행복한 길임. 방청에서 산타가 안무를 안 하고 앉아 있길래 다리 다친 줄 알았는데 머리가 아파서 그렇다고 함. 그래서 며칠 전부터 병원을 갔다나.. 그래 아프면 그럴 수 있고 굳이 아팠던 사람한테 모진 말 하긴 싫지만, 프로듀서 말 들어보니 그동안 소판 촬영하면서 계속 아파서 제대로 참여를 못한 부분이 꽤 있었던 것 같은데 이건 소판 참여자들한테도 민폐고, 아픈 본인 몸에도 못할 짓임. 건강관리는 기본 중의 기본이고, 데뷔하면 더 바빠지고 몸 컨디션은 안 좋아질텐데 아이돌 데뷔도 전에 이런다? 그냥 여러모로 이건 아니라는 생각이 든다. 제발 스스로 내가 진심으로 아이돌을 하고 싶은 게 맞고, 소화할 수 있는지 진지하게 생각해보길 바란다.

wtf mbc? no puedo creer que SANTA este en el puesto 29. el mas popular tiene un ranking tan bajo?, sus fotos en instagram y twitter son siempre las con mas likes, sus videos son los mas vistos, es el único participante que supera los 100 k, si es un programa de talento pero si eliminan al mas popular solo tendran otro grupo como gloss:y con mucho talento ( como todos los grupos de la industria) pero con poco apoyo y pasaran al olvido como muchos.

Just curious...does Thailand have their own pop group making competitions? Wouldn't he have done better there since I'm sure his fan base is mostly Thai? Had he known that he wanted to be in kpop for awhile or was it a spontaneous decision? Did he know coming to a Korean based competition show that it might have been beneficial for him to learn some Korean? Learning a different language is hard work...he has the ability and resources to do that, after all he is an actor but he didn't put that work in. These are legitimate questions.
He has always wanted to become an Idol, even before he became an actor. I am sure it was his decision to come not the company's. The company has nothing to gain from him debuting as an idol in Korea as if that happens he will not be able to continue his acting in Thailand. Also there is no similar level competion there or an idol industry like in Korea. So i dont think he could have fulfilled his dream of becoming an idol in Thailand.
He has been doing acting along with his schooling the last few years. We cannot assume that he is not putting effort into learning Korean. He must have learnt some of it before but ofcourse he is not yet fluent in the language which will take time. Also many of the other global trainees have been living in Korea for months before joining the competition which is definitely beneficial in becoming fluent in it which unfortunately he couldnt do as he just released a series some months back.
@@bhagtan7 I am not assuming he hasn't been put in the effort but if he has then he should be speaking at least a little. I am not Korean and can speak a little but I don't have an idol dream. Some of the other trainees did not go to Korea...they learned online. The Japanese trainee learned for 3 yrs in Japan online and even the Korean trainees are impressed by his fluency and pronunciations. I'm just saying that to me speaks of hard work and sacrifices.
@@tothemoonandback8571 Ofcourse Hikaru is amazing when he speaks Korean but him n I guess Ksoul are the only 2 global trainees who are fluent or close to fluent in the language. The other global ones are all in the same boat as Santa & all of them are working hard to learn the language but not everyone can pick up languages fast especially one as difficult as Korean. We can see them speak few words n phrases here & there but it's going to take a little time before they can fluently and confidently speak Korean.
I imagine this: -Guys, We have little audience. How do we make it generate more controversy, even if it lowers the self-esteem of the contestants? -i have a idea, Let's do what we want with the ranking and ignore the international votes. -Don't forget to only use his image to keep Thai fans interested. this show is a joke, they already know who is going to debut, so that two years later they run away.

Take a closer look at each episode and content on RUclips and you will see who the company is promoting and who is being pushed out of the picture. Yes, it's an international show, but it seems that only Korean trainees get "speaking parts". The rest are being pushed out. No exposure no chance for fans to get to know them and vote for them.

Yeah, personally Santa was never my pick but I was rooting for him to get better because I knew he had popularity (popularity that would benefit a debuting group) but his fans need to take consideration that they are not the only ppl watching this show and the majority will have an unbiased opinion towards him seeing how he lacked so much compared to others. 방청까지 다녀왔는데 산타는 진짜 데뷔하면 안 됨.... 애초에 한국말을 조금도 못한다는 것부터가 데뷔 자질 부족임. 그냥 하던대로 배우 하면 되고, 팬들도 연기하는 산타 모습에 만족하는 게 모두에게 행복한 길임.
방청에서 산타가 안무를 안 하고 앉아 있길래 다리 다친 줄 알았는데 머리가 아파서 그렇다고 함. 그래서 며칠 전부터 병원을 갔다나.. 그래 아프면 그럴 수 있고 굳이 아팠던 사람한테 모진 말 하긴 싫지만, 프로듀서 말 들어보니 그동안 소판 촬영하면서 계속 아파서 제대로 참여를 못한 부분이 꽤 있었던 것 같은데 이건 소판 참여자들한테도 민폐고, 아픈 본인 몸에도 못할 짓임. 건강관리는 기본 중의 기본이고, 데뷔하면 더 바빠지고 몸 컨디션은 안 좋아질텐데 아이돌 데뷔도 전에 이런다? 그냥 여러모로 이건 아니라는 생각이 든다.
제발 스스로 내가 진심으로 아이돌을 하고 싶은 게 맞고, 소화할 수 있는지 진지하게 생각해보길 바란다.

Just curious...does Thailand have their own pop group making competitions? Wouldn't he have done better there since I'm sure his fan base is mostly Thai? Had he known that he wanted to be in kpop for awhile or was it a spontaneous decision? Did he know coming to a Korean based competition show that it might have been beneficial for him to learn some Korean? Learning a different language is hard work...he has the ability and resources to do that, after all he is an actor but he didn't put that work in.
These are legitimate questions.
He has always wanted to become an Idol, even before he became an actor. I am sure it was his decision to come not the company's. The company has nothing to gain from him debuting as an idol in Korea as if that happens he will not be able to continue his acting in Thailand. Also there is no similar level competion there or an idol industry like in Korea. So i dont think he could have fulfilled his dream of becoming an idol in Thailand.
He has been doing acting along with his schooling the last few years. We cannot assume that he is not putting effort into learning Korean. He must have learnt some of it before but ofcourse he is not yet fluent in the language which will take time. Also many of the other global trainees have been living in Korea for months before joining the competition which is definitely beneficial in becoming fluent in it which unfortunately he couldnt do as he just released a series some months back.
@@bhagtan7 I am not assuming he hasn't been put in the effort but if he has then he should be speaking at least a little. I am not Korean and can speak a little but I don't have an idol dream. Some of the other trainees did not go to Korea...they learned online. The Japanese trainee learned for 3 yrs in Japan online and even the Korean trainees are impressed by his fluency and pronunciations. I'm just saying that to me speaks of hard work and sacrifices.
@@tothemoonandback8571 Ofcourse Hikaru is amazing when he speaks Korean but him n I guess Ksoul are the only 2 global trainees who are fluent or close to fluent in the language. The other global ones are all in the same boat as Santa & all of them are working hard to learn the language but not everyone can pick up languages fast especially one as difficult as Korean. We can see them speak few words n phrases here & there but it's going to take a little time before they can fluently and confidently speak Korean.
