Out of curiosity your opinion, you say every string should alternate on your crosses over under, does it matter to you when you go through a covered grommet, do you go under one side and over on the other? If your cross starts over, do you go under the covered main grommet and come out over the other covered main grommet, then it might be easier to see especially when you finish if you tie on your cross, you know you wont have a crossover. Nice video!

Always opposite for weaving (compared to your last weave). Regarding grommets that are covered I always go over over or under under, never crossover the outside string that is covering the hole if that makes sense.

Very informative! Have you ever tried to use your starting clamp when you start your crosses, so you dont pull tension on your starting knot? I noticed you clamp under the teeth when you do your mains, but clamp in the teeth when you do your crosses, is there a reason why you clamp your mains like that? Nice weaving technique, I am so slow doing poly.

Indeed, I do that generally with natural gut. No need in my opinion for starting clamp with any type of string except natural gut.
