I got my period the other day it was really dark brown so I didn’t know what it was so it kept happening for 3 days and I finally asked my cousin and got some pads from my mom
A dark brown period is normal! Don’t think that your different:)
I go though at least 5 maxi pads a day and on my period everyday I have to wear a maxi pad never regular or anything like that is this normally and I am only 10
We first recommended to check in with your doctor. You might be experiencing Menorrhagia, which is just a fancy way of saying that you bleed a lot during your period. Your doctor might recommend birth control, which will help with your bleeding and a lot of other period symptoms. The birth control pill does sound kinda scary but it actually does way more then prevent pregnancy! We made a video this week where we talked about it, so definitely check that out. It’s completely fine if birth control makes you uncomfortable, you do not have to use it! Talk with your mom/dad and see what they think. You could even watch that video with them. Do some research and speak with your doctor! So sorry that you’re experiencing that!

Hi there ! Thank you so much ❤️❤️. I have a question. I am 13 and I get normal discharges. But, it is very sticky and wet. I am planning to use panty liners. So, should I use it or not ? Or can I get infection if I use scented panty liners? My mom says that you should change your panty liner every 4 hours. I don't think changing too frequent is necessary.. What is your opinion ?? I know I am asking a little too much questions. Still hoping that you will reply
It really depends on what you think is best for your body. Pantyliners would definitely help with the discharge and your mom is correct- people usually change their liner every 3-7 hours or depending on how much discharge they have. We don’t recommend scented period products in general just because they can irritate the skin. Hope this helped!

The best thing about panty liners is that when they’re in their packaging, they’re TINY! You can easily slip one into your pocket or even hold it in your closed fist! Please don’t be embarrassed- be proud :) Hope this helped!

It depends on what gym clothes you wear and what underwear you wear with them. We definitely recommend Carefree thong pantyliners and Always daily liners! Hope this helped!

For some people, yes! You may want to check with a doctor if you feel uncomfortable or notice the discharge is green or some other color besides white/clear. But yes, it is normal to get discharge and some people get it daily! Hope this helped!

if you have discharge do you wear one for the entire day or how many do you use in a day?
It depends on the person! Usually one panty liner will be enough but if you play sports or are extremely active during the day, you might want to bring an extra and change in between activities.

If you are using it during your periods or your discharge is too much then change it every 3 to 5 hours else you may get uti or yeast infections.

Yes, of course! But we wouldn’t recommend them when you have a heavy period because they aren’t accommodating to blood flow. They’re better for the last day of your cycle!

Girl u can still use those! Discharge typically starts appearing almost a year before first period hits. So u can use the liners during that time for that sticky wet feeling :))
Discharge is perfectly normal before your period, and you can use pantyliners whenever you need to! Most pantyliners are advertised as “daily liners” so you can use them everyday, if you wish. Hope this helped!

That’s a difficult question to answer because there aren’t a lot of things you can do. Before you buy a lot of liners, we suggest buying a small pack instead (just to see how well they stick). If you know your liners don’t stick well then you can wear tighter underwear that keeps it in place. If you’re spotting and your liners don’t stick well, just go ahead and wear a pad! If you’re looking for brands, we recommend Always. They have great quality liners. Thanks for asking a question! We hope this helped!

Wow! Very interesting! Then you should check out reusable panty liners! They clip underneath your underwear (so you don’t have to rely on stickiness) and you can wash them and reuse them! GladRags has great reusable pads and panty liners if you’re interested! 💜

It depends! Those are signs of puberty and menstruation is a part of that process and it can happened at really any time but usually girls get their first period at around 12.

Yes, panty liners are usually used for discharge but they can also be used on the last days of your period when your flow is very light. Maybe ask your mom if you could have some panty liners, and when she asks why, because your starting to get discharge and you learned that panty liners help. You can even watch our panty liner video with her if that would make you more comfortable!

Okay I’m scared I got my first period like 4 months ago and I haven’t gotten it sense, is that normal?? Cause that didn’t happen to my friends
During the first year or so, most people will have an irregular period. It’s COMPLETELY normal and nothing to worry or be ashamed about. After about a year, your period may become more regular (you get your period around the same time every month) but sometimes periods stay irregular, meaning that you get your period every month but you get it at different times (it’s not on a consistent schedule). Periods are different for every menstruating person! You can also chat with a doctor and/or parent about what’s happening. They may be able to relieve any anxieties and help you, if help is needed. This is a very normal thing to happen when you start your menstrual cycle. If it keeps happening for more that a year or two....just mention it to your Dr. The only time you should be concerned about it is if you're sexualy active. If that's the case you should definitely need to talk to your doctor and they will put you on birth control ( which by the way is used to regulate your cycle not only for pregnancy prevention)

Mine didn't come for like 4-5 months after my first three don't worry unless it reaches 6 months then check in with a doctor to make sure you are ok.

It depends on the person! Usually people will start experiencing discharge around the same time that they get their period for the first time. But, it really depends on the body!
