I do not know why. The music of Erik Satie, takes me on a journey. My soul, my spirit they all disappear. I experience the most diverse feelings. This brilliant, wonderful music goes into the deepest parts of my heart, my soul. I have never experienced that a piece of music touches me so much in my heart that it always moves me to tears. No matter how many times I have heard it. The music is not of this world. Dear Erik Satie, Wherever you may be now, know that you have left a great gift to us humans. I imagine that you enjoy watching us enjoy your music. Thank you for your beautiful gift.💜🍀🙏

This melody got stuck in my brain after watching the movie "The Painted Veil" with Naomi Watts and Edward Norton ... wonderful, but also very heavy and melancholic - just like this song.
If you're wondering why you love this ultimate melancholic soundtrack of misery, morning, loneliness, sadness and death in general so much; it's probably cause you're a nyctophilian, like the rest of us. Welcome to the club!
This is similar to how I play it, I also hate the tempo of every video on youtube. To bad that it's such a terrible audio quality video because the picture and the track are amazing. Any chance you could upload a HD version? Pleeeeease?
All the pther audios and versions have messed up tempos, and sound weird, this is the only right version ive ever heard, i cantdance to messed up tempos, that is why following the sheet music is important, this version is great and is what i will use for my final dance project

the best version i have ever had the pleasure of listening to !
mine was better
I lay in the damp grass on a hot summer evening staring up at a shining sliver of moon , tears mingle with the dew. Satie knows my soul.
A musical piece so deep it penetrates right to the very soul. Like looking at yourself in a mirror during a time of reflection.
Great matching music and pictures! One of the most beautiful pieces of Erik satie!👌👌👌

What a beautiful hommage to Satie and his work
This melody got stuck in my brain after watching the movie "The Painted Veil" with Naomi Watts and Edward Norton ... wonderful, but also very heavy and melancholic - just like this song.
It is even in other films like Chocolat and Hugo Cabret :)
The intense piano part was used in the Mars TV series from National Geographic.
I heard it on an Agatha Christie Poirot episode - Five Little Pigs.
I heard it in the background in a scene from the series "Mr. Robot"
The black and white pictures seem to set the mood of this piece
This music describes how I am feeling. My heart aches for more. ❤
