My son was not coordinated but after doing infants JJJ, BJJ for almost 3 years, 1 year acrobatics and karate in the same dojo looks normal and everyone training to mess up with him gets surprised 😅. Shinkiokushin is getting push kicks from Muithai, body shots from boxing, body positioning from Sabaki. It's so empowering to see 7-8 years old hit each other for 1.5 hours in champions classes (with minimum protection) - the new improved Karate ❤
Ōyama Masutatsu analyzed the techniques of muay thai very precisely. Even today in the age of the Internet and cell phone cameras it's hard for many to understand the movements. A role model in learning, analyzing and adapting, I am not aware of many other systems that traveled to Thailand to compete, to learn from the encounter. A great full contact master

Great teaching by Sensei Filho. 🥋 Bu the guys in front row had very stiff hips. In one drill only one did as showed. And these gyus have black belts, uff. Maybe they can do something else better.

To be fair to Shinkiokushin they organize seminars in learning boxing body shots, Muithai/TKD style switch kicks, and Muithai push kicks. Awesome strength building classes, Pad work and working in pairs is common there. WKO is Doing the best in the constraints of Japanese conservatism.
Como é bom ver o Francisco Filho, lenda viva do Karatê Kyokushin, forte, ativo, dando aula, seminários!! Oss
What an honour to get to train with him

Interestingly he started with Korean and Chinese kempo, but chose most of inspiration from Shotokan and Goju.

The content is great, but wouldn't it better to pair everyone and do drilling in more realistic environment not just improving ventelstion?
maybe you will go and give a seminar and show how it should be done?
