Russ was absolutely trashed by 95% of the media. He is a top 25 talent of all time and still got kicked when he was down.. the media has zero respect for veterans of the game when they are towards the end of their careers. Thank God nba players like you are changing the media and the narratives!!

Whenever the tough gets going Westbrook’s glaring lack of talent becomes evident. Let’s not pretend - the regular season aside, Westbrook hasn’t been a threat since his Okc days.
So..... Terence Mann has been shooting 44% from 3pt line since the All Star Break. It's a math problem, if you let Terence shoot ten 3's, that is not a smart strategy giving Terence open 3's. That is how he beat the Utah Jazz in Game 6 in 2021 to send the Clippers to the WCF.

Good point but T Mann is too hesitant to let shots fly.
He passes up a lot of opportunities and the team doesn't always get a good shot after he passes on an open look.
With the clock winding down The Clippers either get a clock violation, a turnover, or a rushed shot....
One thing he does that i do like and that he should do far more often is he attacks closeouts.......
If you are not going to take the three, at least drive to the basket hard....

in my opinion, Zubac was the key for game one. Mavs need to do a whole better as a team, because Clippers destroyed them without Kawhi, on a regular night for Westbrook and Harden and a bad shooting night for PG and Powell. Clippers can be so much better. Same as Dallas, but they depend on two guys

If the Clippers play with urgency and defend like they can, they can get to the finals.. i think as talented as they are they cruised in some games this yr. Norman Powels been quiet as of recently. Ive heard noone even speak about him and if he catches fire and starts giving 20+ off the bench like he's capable of doing. Its gonna be a wrap. Dont even get me started if PG comes out hot. Tell me who on the MAVS can even stop the Clips if PG, Harden, ZU and Russ & Norm off the bench are all hot. They've shown during the season, they can put a string of convincing wins together. Even without Kawhi.
Jason Kidd should be the one to try and adjust if clips get hot from 3 but Kidd is bad with ingame adjustments

Mann will give Luka his work and limit him a little bit. Luka will still score 30-40p. The key is to stop the rest of the team. Clippers in 5 or 6

It depends on who he plays for. When the thunder had PG, he was actually a top 5 defensive pg, and when he was part of that microball rockets, he was an elite defender there as well

Also as the #1 option in OKC it was sort of difficult to be great on both ends because of the energy it requires....but he wasn't bad.
As the #2 when KD was there Russ was quite good on D

As a #2 with Beal he was really bad.
As a #3 with The Lakers he was really bad.
As a reserve with The Clippers he has been really good again.
