Shocked this piece isn’t more well known! Vivaldi does it again, amazing work!
It was only discovered in the 1992 and it was not realized to be by Vivaldi until 2006, because it was falsely attributed to be by Galuppi along with several other sacred compositions by Vivaldi. I love this piece. It sounds modern, powerful, joyful, dominant and interesting all in one piece. Vivaldi is the goat.

if Vivaldi bores you, try to listen to interpretations by orchestras like this one. sometimes it's the interpretation that is boring, I've heard some versions of the four seasons which are unbearable

Matthew Gagliardi I know it’s been two years, but I wanted to say no group made me appreciate Vivaldi more than “Il Giardino Armonico”. Their interpretations are new, unique, and somehow feel more “Vivaldi” than the other interpretations.
Vivaldi boring? Can't compute.
His key choice gives the work a very insistent quality.

it’s in e minor so the picardy third would have to be a parallel major chord to the minor key so the g would technically be the third of the scale so it would need to be sharp to be a major chord

it’s ok one time i couldn’t figure out that a song went into parallel minor for like 5 mins when i got called on but the thing was i figured it out before we even started the piece i just forgot everything

Bellissima musica. Apprezzo molto il m.o Alessandrini anche se per me il tempo è troppo veloce . Un ritmo che comunica nervosismo soprattutto alle due soprano costrette alla non cantabilita'. Ormai sembra che 'barocco' sia sinonimo di velocità isterica. Comunque bravissimi

Ma la smettete di mettere VIVALDI con la musica metal!!!È una grandissima offesa verso IL GRANDE MAESTRO!!!Se qualche metallaro da 2 soldi USA qualche progressione armonica e qualche linea compositiva marcata di VIVALDI non vuole dire niente,capiscilo da te se hai intelligenza a sufficienza!
