2019 CFDA Fashion Awards: Sarah Burton Receives the International Award

I really love her! She has done so well Interms of rejuvanating the House of Alexander McQueen! She has risen above the constant barrage of criticism from The McQueen Queen's who have been quite scathing and unfair! She has softened the McQueen label and made the clothes much more wearable and modern. There is none of McQueen's theatricality, angst and dare I say hysterical drag queen catwalk melodrama. And before The McQueen devotees tear me down may I just say this! I met McQueen a number of times and he would just laugh at me! More importantly he would agree! Sarah Burton is doing a fine job at the helm of the design house which bears his name. He would applaud her emergence out of his shadows and creating her own vision for the House of McQueen! The award is well deserved! Hats off to Sarah Burton and applause!
