Review of swimming pool cover - Test

Review, test, assessment, trial of a slatted (lamellar) swimming pool cover from VR Production (A.P.F Annonay Productions France). It has had major problems from the very beginning; it has stopped, broken down, failed to start, jammed - basically, it does not work.

It is important to find a serious supplier who can provide service when you have a technically complex product like swimming pool and motorized pool cover.

are u crazy? just unhook motor and manually pull the cover, install a crank and roll it back up!

No, I am not crazy, I have tried to get help from the dealer - and they have zero technical competence.
You have to unroll the cover to unhook the motor. That means: you have to manually unroll the cover (that weights more than 100 kg.) turn after turn. It is, actually, a very stupid construction, other producers have much better designs than VR.

I started a long time ago. That cover is discarded and a new one (that functions) is installed.

Is this the same company as Covrex in Belgium-or is it different? Covrex seems to have great reviews.
