    Helpful to note that the left-hand bass note is a pickup.

      The left-hand bass note doesn't come in on the 1, it's on the "a" of 4. That's called a "pickup note". This is important for viewers to know if they're counting it out in 4/4 time, especially if they're familiar with western counting systems.
      So one might count it as:
      One, two, three, four a |
      One and two-e-and three and (rest) a |
      One and two-e-and three and...
      etc.
      L | R*L* RLR* L*R* ***L | R*L* RLR* L*R* ***L | R*L* RLR* L*R* ***L | etc.

      Oh nice I didn't know that term in English, yes it is a pickup note. For the rest I just give general guidelines to be more accessible to most people but in the future I might use graphics in the video and be more detailed!
