as a spanish speaker, this is basically just putting connections between certain words in my head and then just translating them, for some reason portuguese doesnt seem to have that much in common with spanish when it comes to words, since i am from argentina at least i can understand italians tho

As an American learning Spanish, the words seem kinda close since works like "and" are both 1 letter which in spanish is y and in portuguese is e. words like notebook are really close too, caderno and cuaderno.

i'm currently learning spanish and the amount of overlap is so interesting with portuguese and spanish. portuguese is literally like french spanish. i have to avoid learning words in portuguese otherwise i'll screw up my spanish progress lmfao
