I always thought that in the TOP of the Funnel, you shouldn’t use conversion, but engagement or videoviews. But now im starting to see a lot of people optimizing for conversion in the top of the funnel!! Why is this? Which is the correct answer?
If the Tofu is for cold audience - why do you set the campaign objective to conversions? Don't you want a reach campaign? Also - you've indicated inyour video that for high tier more expensive product you might need a 10 steps funnel, but in this video you've only showed a simple 2 steps funnel, without even a mofu. We are working on a video about this right now! For now, you will just have to use broad interest-based targeting or you can purchase a list of people who have a similar makeup as your customers and upload that to generate a 1, 2, 3, and 4% lookalike.
I love how everyone skip the step on youtube videos, which conversion objective to choose add to cart, inc or purchase since you're targeting cold audience? people want to know what's going on behind the scenes which is for me the most important step to succeed with facebook ads. Why we can't use for example facebook video views to warm up the audience and than use conversion objective on the middle of the funnel ? once we ask those kind of question all of sudden there is no reply because no one wants to share the secret what is actually working. If I read the comments section down below there are few people they ask the same question but no one is willing to reply why ? I'm pretty sure this comment will not get an answer as well that's why majority of the youtube videos tell you only the basics.
Hi. Then let me make your day. So, it's not called conversion "objective" but "optimisation" and which one you choose depends on many things and this is why not a lot of people care to explain that in their videos. What it depends on is how big is the business, what was the success of TOP campaigns and what is the product. So, for example, my first choice will always be to optimize for Purchase. However, if in the next two weeks the results are low, I will change it to ATC, as then FB is looking for people who predominantly do that action, which is always more than PUR, as the funnel goes. Then you check the results and whether you got more PUR with ATC optimisation. Then, if the numbers allow (BIG NUMBERS ONLY), you can retarget the cart abandoners and this time use, ofc, PUR optimisation. Let me know if you need consultations :)

if you use conversion, maybe you get sales faster because facebook show the ad to a "hot" people. He dont know your product but he have buyer characteristics.. When use videoview the funnel is more slow ... The viewers are more cold.. and you need warm more to get results. If you have small budget conversion maybe is better in my opnion
When u use conversion objective u are telling Facebook to help u find people that are most likely to buy your product or service or take action on your website

Video views. And use 25 - 50% view conversion, since someone who only watched 2 seconds of your video isn't signaling interest/engagement.
for the op of the funnel people were tend to say open a traffic ads but know i see people opening a conversion. do you find any answer
