  • Starcade Arcade. Here is a walkthrough of Starcade Arcade in St. Paul Minnesota. Nick the GM takes us on a tour of the current lineup at Starcade. This is a great arcade to roll up to and play tons of classic games. Starcade Arcade is owned by Paul, Bryan, and a third investor and I think they did a great job selecting, maintaining, and rotating their games. This is a must-visit if you are in Minnesota.
    If you want to hear more about Starcade Arcade I interviewed Paul and Bryan in episodes 140, 66, and 32 of In The Scene. Starcade Arcade has been around for a few years and has been doing awesome stuff, go check them out.
    If you like what we are doing here at Indie Arcade Wave don't forget to like, share, and subscribe. It helps us a ton, the wave will continue to grow and we can all ride it together.

    this is what you call a REAL ARCADE!! this is what i used to frequent a lot in my teenage days in the early 90s. Pizza, hotdogs, and games and girls!!! That's all we had back then!!!! Love this!!!!

      I agree, this is a real arcade. I love hanging out at Starcade. I wish I could have seen arcades back in the day, I was born a bit too late for that. I'm glad I get to see this new wave.

    Back when Starcade moved from Rosedale to Keg n Case, I was a bit worried about potentially having less space there. But I was pleasantly surprised the first time I saw the new location. And then I found the second floor. Great place!

    • @IndieArcadeWave
      @IndieArcadeWave  27 дней назад +1

      I loved the Roseville location. The new location is better, in my opinion, because of the multiple spaces. The lower level, the pinball space, the upstairs, and then the candy island. It's a great layout and grouping of games.

    LOL. I was looking for classic Street Fighter games and I see Marvel VS Capom 2, X-Men VS Street Fighter, Killer Instinct 2, Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, and etc. I didn't see Marvel VS Street Fighter nor SF III New Generation though. I saw the classic Street Fighter game, but it seems to be just SSFII, and not SSFII Turbo. I could be wrong, but I've never seen Fei Long's original costume in SSFII Turbo unless it's exclusively just for the arcade version.
    Other games I didn't see were Time Crisis 2, 3, 4, and 5. I saw some airplane games, but I didn't see the Raiden Project series. These are must haves in an arcade store including Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles. That's a good start, though.

      They have a lot of those games in their collection, there is only so much space on the floor. I can't say for sure that they have all of the SF games you're looking for, I know that there are a bunch of games on each candy cab/big blue.
      The games change constantly. They cycle games out when something goes down or when they feel like moving a game from their personal collection to the arcade. Any of those games could have been added since filming, you never know.
