- How to use your new DCC kerbside bins after 1 July.
🟩 What to put in your new green-lidded bin:
✔ Food scraps, dairy, meat, bones and seafood, garden waste, hair and animal fur.
❌ Never put in tea bags, paper or cardboard. No flax, cabbage tree or palm tree leaves. No plastics or bin liners. No liquids, please.
Put out your green-lidded bin for collection every week.
🟥 What to put in your new red-lidded rubbish bin:
Safe household rubbish that cannot be reused, repaired or recycled.
Put out your red-lidded bin on your usual blue glass recycling bin collection day.
