Marines Say 'Mad Dog' Mattis May Temper Trump

Retired Marine General James Mattis was on Capitol Hill today for his confirmation hearing as Donald Trumps’ nominee for Defense Secretary. Mattis is seen as a legend among Marines, especially those he commanded from Camp Pendleton. They say to expect the man called “Mad Dog” to help ground the incoming Trump administration.
