In the old days I didn't get much sleep during car hunts, since there were no daily passes back then. I try to at least improve a car featured that season by 1 star. Takes time and then eventually it repeats itself enough that you can unlock it.
In the first year or so I didn't spend any money. MP was mostly in Bronze occasional Silver. Seems like you got more in tokens packs back then? I think I remember you could get Legend Store cars quicker in some kind of weekly special for big chunks of credits as well. When I later joined Oz Racing about 1 1/2 -2 years in I started getting the LP. LP used to last the month. Not short seasons like now. I don't get Daily Pass usually. Occasionally MP Pass, but get trade most of the time so not really worth it either. Skip Overclock pass and just use overclock chips from Daily wisely. Since I have a lot of cars I usually do good on tokens for daily and SE events. Drive Syndicate is basically where I tend to spend money. This last one was the 1st time ever I got the car. Usually get stuck on A class. Had a lot better drops this time. Wild Cards have helped a lot as well. Though seems like I'm not earning any 3 star S class Wild Cards lately. Club rewards helps a lot. Basically just do what you can with the tokens you earn that season and little by little it slowly adds up.
Nice! Also, i play on switch, and overclock updates hasnt come out. Do you have to upgrade each time you overclock, or will the overclock upgrades save each overclock.
1st time out I did try the Overclock pass. It lasted 28 days with no time limit and every car was Overclock once you activated it. To me it was a big WASTE of money, since they pick which cars are Overclock not you. I did just fine with cars that weren't Overclock. Now I just do Overclock Showcase for free in Daily Event. You get 90 Overclock chips for complete Event. I use them wisely only in Clash or Grand Prix event. For the current season, I have only used 16 Overclock chips and that was for 1 spot in Clash on my Onyx. The 16 chips got me 1 day use. You have an option to use 85 chips for 7 day use for Onyx as well. Once you upgrade to Overclock stats the time starts ticking on that car whether you play the game or not. Cars that are lower class will cost less Overclock chips. Overclock chips do seem to carry over to next season. Right now I have 83 Overclock chips, so I must have had 9 chips from last season. Each season they seem to switch up which cars will have Overclock option. I hope this helps answer your question.

It does seem like they tend to pick cars that are going to be featured in Finale or are featured as LP car, cars in SE, or MP2. Chiron and Onyx have been featured 2x. Those last two I think to help out newer players combat against high top speed cars older players have recently gotten like Valhalla, Omola, XJR-9, DEVEL, Jesko, Venom, & Agera RS.

Does your club trade wild cards? That helps. I'm still grinding away to get last 5 epics for my SLR McLaren. I usually get stuck with Acura 2017 NSX or 911 Targa for 30,000 milestone in MP. Took me forever to golden max my Huracan, because I didn't know about trading imports for a long time. That was before there was a Star Way. Draw back of having cars max, I can't get any epics from the Show Room for cars like Sian.
Overall not sure. I think I started buying the cheapest Legend Pass that doesn't open tiers during the summer of 2020. Maybe the Lamborghini Season that went from May 7-July 4, 2020 or American Season July 2 - August 27, 2020? LP use to average about 7 weeks compared to now where it might be only 20 days. Before that I played for free. I do the daily goals for tokens and watch ads. As my garage got bigger from grinding hunts & doing MP milestones, I was able to earn more tokens in SE and the season showcase in Daily. Club rewards helped a lot. Another reason why when I played for free my garage was growing slow even with me doing grinding was being in an inactive club. I wasted money on the first release of Overclock Pass and haven't bought it since. I don't buy Daily Pass usually, because I already have cars in hunts or only need last 1-2 stars so just grind it. I did spend on the cheaper Season Tokens to get the Agera RS maxed out. And I've spent some on DS4-DS8. I also used to get the MP pass, but when they switched out Zenvo & Fenyr milestones for Veneno & Vision Milestones and lowered tokens earned it was no longer worth it. Now I only occasionally get MP pass if the Finale doesn't have a bunch of trade. I tend to get bad drops on those milestones anyway. Hope that helps answer your question. Basically you can calculate it out by which season we are on for min and add in some extra for moments of stupidity. lol.
First couple of years my garage wasn't great. It was a big deal when I finally got Viper ACR and H2 Speed. A guy in my old club back then would get to LL using Elise, Acura 2017 NSX, and Grand Sport. I think it's more challenging for low garages to get to Legend League now then it was back then, because most people didn't have the high top speed cars you see now. I think the Star Way and Showcase events do help the newer players some. I wish they would have had those back when I started. Good luck and thanks for watching.
