You act like laplace is mentioned every episode which may be what it seems like to someone like you who has watched all the episodes many times either by themselves or by someone reacting to them. He has only been mentioned like 2 times in the anime and the last time was on ep 9 when we got rui's backstory so that was practically a year ago. You probably read the light novels or webnovels as well where he is mentioned even more further contributing to your jaded perspective.
No, laplace did not make a strong impression at all, when he was mentioned not much information was given and it was not super memorable. Hence why people forget several weeks later in other episodes.
@@tetrizine Nop, i just watched the anime and if you pay more attention you will see that Laplace was mentioned at least 3 times and the first was on episode 1. (and no, I didn’t watched the anime several times, only some reactions here and there)

Yeah, Orsted basically collapsed or crushed Rudeus' lungs. The vast majority of mages in the world have to use incantations, so orsted thought he basically killed him since he would no longer be able to talk, so Orsted was pretty surprised that he could use incantationless spells. Seems like the perfect strategy to fight most mages though, stop them from casting and they are worthless.
Unfortunately Rudeus isn't so good at silent healing magic, so it's still a pretty good strategy if nobody around him can heal.
@@haku8135 oh yep for sure. I bet it would work against like 95% or higher of the time. Mages are super strong, but are like glass cannons, if a swordsman can close the gap and stop them from casting it’s basically game over

Amazing episode! was waiting for this and we got more than what we expected. This episode follows strongly in the WN/LN as well which is nice.
Anyways, as a fellow WN/LN reader who completed the story, I'd like to share some trivia with you about this episode without spoiling anything further.
-If you're wondering where are they now, they are in the Red Dragon Mountains which is just before Asura Kingdom. And yes as the name says, it is filled with Red Dragons. a single red dragon is on par to a S rank Adventurer. but Red Dragons tend to move in Flocks. However they cannot fly above level ground, thats their only weakness. So people at the ground level near the area are at least safer than those climbing the mountains.
- If you're wondering why Rudy is stupid enough to talk towards Orsted even when told not to, he wasnt inflicted by the curse of Orsted. Even Rudy was quick to tell that Orsted is somehow "all-knowing" so it intrigued his curiosity and think he could trust his answer so he asked him about the mana disaster and even about Hitogami (Man-God)
- You can clearly see that when Ruijerd and Eris was engaging with Orsted, their Visibly Scared Faces still remain. The curse of fear from Orsted doesnt wear off even when you try to fight against it.
- Notice how Eris actually tried to use magic. Remember that Rudy taught her about magic. She was able to do a simple fireball spell to light a campfire before once but it seems the anime missed that and put that in here instead. Good call.
- From the mention of Orsted knowing Ruijerd and Eris' names without ever meeting them yet and knowing that Paul should only have two daughters...That's more than enough of a hint of what Orsted's power is capable of.
- It wasn't clear but Rudy was surprised to see a person (nanahoshi) with BLACK hair. He has never seen anyone in this world with black hair before. this can be fun for speculations
- A nice thing to point, Orsted's first attack on Rudy was to Damage his lungs severely. Its more than enough to Kill Rudy too since he will just suffocate. Since Orsted knows Rudy is a magic user, he thought damaging the lungs would not make him cast spells since you have to actually say the magic spell to be able to use them normally but what he didnt realize is Rudy uses incantationless magic. And since Rudy has almost a limitless amount of mana in him, he can still cast magic. that's why he can put up some fighting chance even while injured like this
-Orsted Techincally kind of saved everyone there when Rudy made that Fireball magic. During that time, Rudy was panicking and was trying to come up with the best offensive magic he can throw at Orsted. Before Rudy was scared with fire magic because he has too much mana and if he cant control it, it can cause some unnecessary destruction. When he was making this fireball, he put all his mana into it, imagining it to be a NUCLEAR bomb. So Orsted throwing that ball into another dimension was a good move. If orsted just tried to block it, it would cause a huge explosion and would definitely kill off both Ruijerd and Eris.
- This episode now introduced a new magic called "Disturb Magic". Seeing as Rudy is cunning you can imagine what he do with it. The other powers that Orsted uses are his own though.
- If you havent seen it, Orsted was visibly impressed to Rudeus' ability to do two separate incantation-less magic on each hand. He was also impressed when the Stone Cannon Rudy did to Orsted actually grazed him. Yes that was a graze.
- Notice how orsted only used his bare hands against Ruijerd and Eris but with Rudy, he had to use some magic against him. This point will be important later when you know Orsted's fighting style
-Orsted mentions later that Rudy has no "Magic Armour" considering he has a large amount of mana on par with laplace and is disappointed that he can simply impale him. It wasnt mentioned in the anime though. Yes there is a thing called "magic armour" that anyone with mana can use to make them at least tank some hits.
-Yes, Orsted's curse affects also Animals. Its why their horse just up and ran away.
- Orsted being able to Heal a fatally injured and near to death Rudy shows that there is really advanced Healing magic out there that can even do that. All Rudy knows is just hear wounds, bruises and broken bones. But heal up an entire major organ is a really complex one but it is possible.
-T BH I would've wanted this episode to end up to when Rudy Dies. It would keep alot of fans speculating but there is NO extra scene after Rudy dying. Once the scene with him talking to Hitogami (ManGod) starts, thats the moment he woke up and was alive next.
The rest will of course be explained in the future episodes. You guys think you would expect Rudy to run up to the Seven Great World Powers in order? Nahhh he meets the 2nd Great World Power immediately and got whooped! The animation in this is stunning as always! Dragon God wont take any bullshit!

Orsted is the son of the first dragon god, an actual god, and the son of the original human god's daughter, lunaria. He's not technically a real god like the man god and 6 ancient gods, but more like a demi-god.
@@johncruz5001 this is objectively false. he is a legitimate GOD this is an irrefutable fact. by the way if you are the son of an actual god, you are still a god. the term demi god is irrelivent. just like for example in the greek mythology the terms titan, god, and demi god are irrelivent. the titans are the primordial gods who had children who took on the title of just gods, and than the demi gods are the children of the gods. ultimately all 3 are the same species. the title is just era specific. your a titan if you predate creation, your a god if you are the child of a titan and a demi god if you are the child of a god. but ultimately all 3 are still gods.

So, this world is 6 sides connected like a 6 sided dice, dragon, demon, beast, ocean, sky and human world, each one has their own god, hence the man god, dragon god etc. The technique god, north god, water god, death god etc. are people who are the top of their respective school of fighting or are one of the 7 world powers and has a very specific niche on how they fight.

Man god actually didn’t bring Rudeus into the other world. He even said it. Think of the term God as a class of being the strongest. Like for example, emperor could mean emperor class or a literal emperor

And for Man God, I believe that he self proclaimed himself so that doesn't necessarily mean that he is the strongest human.

What is take from this is that if it wasn’t for his curses, Dragon god would be number one 1. Since his curses stops him from using all of his power though, he is behind Technique God.
Nope, it was mentioned that orsted is the strongest there is even with his curses holding him back. In order to move up the tiers they have to fight eachother and have a declared winner, from what i remember

If Rudeus had such a scroll then he could've just waited to Orsted go & then heal himself.

Orsted actually regressing every time after his death thousonds of years at the moment when he got in this world(not born, because he is other creature from other universe that Hitogami destroyed where Dragons lived and developed enough to almost meet Hitogami. Actually Dragon Universe, Rudeus first life universe and Reimcornated sword and magic unviverses is 3 of 6 universes of cube where in center Hitogami lives). Orsted somehow teleported into other universe and tried to find way to go to Hitogami countless times while Hitogami tried to kill him. Heistuen. You have most likely already seen it by now but episode 22, but if you havnt then wait to read this comment, episode 22 that just released has caused some arguements on youtube and twitter. One of my fav well known anime reactors "Ed Anime" was on twitch reacting to the recent episode. Something happens in the last 5 minutes of the episode that upsetted a decent portion of the mushuko fanbase so he said he was dropping Mushuko Tensei because of it. While I don't agree that it's worth dropping the series over, I can understand why Ed anime and many others including myself were a bit frustrated with the last 5 mins of the episode and ED anime has been getting alot of hate for no reason just because he has an opinion on a certain character. At the end of the day, who is to say who's opinion is right, so you don't have to adress ED anime's channel or who he is, just maybe make a brief nod and say something along the lines of not to attack creators online for having opinions on anime. Either that or I ask the favor of you to not drop the series yourself, and if you do then thats fine, just think about it before you decide. i don't know your opinions on it but just to let you know as a LN reader of mushuko tensei, Rudy doesn't get much better for a decent amount of time. His character ruins the fun sometimes, but this whole essay of mine could be useless and you enjoyed the most recent episode. I enjoyed it personally, it was mainly the last few minutes that got a bit controversial. I don't know how the anime will adapt things from here on out.
