Day 01 of Bangladesh trip from Kolkata.

In the search of root, we travelled to Bangladesh to visit our ancestral places from undivided India times. This video is from day 01 of our quest. Travelling via bus from Kolkata to Jassore with fare of 1700 INR. The bus drops you in Benepole for immigration. For new passport holders it may take you almost 2hrs, the bus waits on the other side of the border and we need to board again. Then we had a tourist vehicle booked and waiting for us at the Jassore terminal. It charged us 4000 BDT/day and additional would be fuel and toll/parking. We stayed in Jassore IT park booked through goibibo which costed around INR 21K for 3 twin sharing rooms for 3 nights and includes breakfast. Post lunch we visited poet Madhusudan Dutta ancestral home and Jassore railway station.
