An underrated movie of 90s. Brilliant performance by Jackie Shroff and Amrish Puri. I think it's Mukesh Rishi's first film and he nailed it.

Sunny Deol in this film would make no sense at all. The whole premise of the film is that a common man, underdog, who doesn't look big or strong, takes on a big, bad, lawless goon. Its a classic David vs Goliath setup.
You look at Sunny Deol and know he can beat up 10 guys at once. Jackie Shroff was perfectly cast here and underplayed his part wonderfully.

And... In that part mukesh rishi was not there.
I have even not mentioned Jackie and amrish ji too because they are not in that particular video of gardish.

Mukesh Rishi as an actor, he was literally a maneater in this flick didn't look like it was his debut.
