I just love your reviews : especially your traditional slip joint reviews. I have you to thank for pretty much every thing I know about them . Thank you Rob for the education through the years and all the knowledge you’ve put out there. I’m a much wiser collector because of it and there haven’t been too many months lately when we get a treat like this!! Again Thank You for sharing.
Ps: Along with that knowledge came a deep appreciation for these kinds of slip joints (especially GEC) . The appreciation has yielded a fairly decent GEC collection and for the last couple of years a slippy accompanies my modern folder in the field of life. 🙏🏻
Well it's roughly 3353 miles from my Canadian home town of Fredericton New Brunswick to were Charlie's living so I guess it would be easier to meet him in Pennsylvania lol 😉
I thought "Those look like CNC lines." just before you said it. Are they gonna finish those off on new tidioute knives, or will that be the new look of a Great Eastern?
I love it ... what a nice piece

WOW!!! You really scored some gems this year Rob! That thing is "tooooo coooool for schoool". I really dig how they did those bolsters!!!
Now that’s a beauty! Thanks for sharing!
Rob, I appreciate your knife reviews, and I find your knowledge about knives, blades, and sharpening. Thanks for posting this video.
these are all good!
Prefer the first ancients more, but love the modified spear.
I was wondering what those strange marks that were on my New Ancient. Not sure I like the idea of a CNC at GEC :(
Nice... love the satin finish with your edge. I don't know about making it look old and its not but they are attractive.
