I definitely see what the development team was going for. When we play the game for the first time it's not meant to be a perfect success. We, the player, are in the same struggle that Skynet, or the Resistance is going through; time traveling back to the beginning again, and again to try and get it right. We can finish and replay the game over and over again and each playthrough is just as canonical to the game as the last. It's actually pretty neat to try and use the physical mechanics of video games as a story telling tool. I give kudos to the development team for trying it.

5 years ago, the devs saw their reputation ruined by making the rambo game, and now, 5 years later, they reddemed themselves with this terminator game.
Dark fate was a great movie. This would’ve been cool to have as a movie but to completely crap on Dark Fate just means you’re not a true fan of the movies. It fits perfectly with the story.

This game is freakin awesome. The music is kinda sad, giving a kinda hopeless and hopeful feel to it if you know what I mean, it’s kinda hard to explain, the music when you are in the hub based talking to everyone is the song I am talking about. I of course love the actual Terminator soundtrack that is used in this game as well, I always wanted to see more backstory for the future and the war against Skynet, Salvation kinda gave us a small glimpse, but other than that, nothing else besides just video game versions.
Yup, this would’ve made a great movie. Some of the scenes are very dark. Especially when you come back to the shelter and find everyone dead. Would’ve been really interesting to see it on the big screen
But Terminator salvation was placed *right* ahead of judgment day, when army was still somewhat a thing and skynet wasn't rolling out their best of machines but primitive HK tanks and T600s, their was no plasma weaponry at that time, it was the correct "future" war too, a better criticism would be we needed one more future war set more ahead in future where T800s and 850s are main weapons of skynet and plasma cannons everywhere.
What's funny is that at the beginning, when Jacobs is running so many people fall from one laser shot but Jacobs just takes mutiple shots to the back without dying.
The fin thing about this game is that you can make a first play with all bad choice but with the "go back in time" ending you can replay a second time with the good choice.😏 Anyway, still better than Dark Fate.
I see this as a horror (oh gosh! T-800 eyes glowing in the dark give a chilling terrifying inside my heart) FPS games which I think might be possibly the thing that we should get instead of Terminator Dark Fate

Yeah it's actually pretty good if you're Terminator fan they did a really good job it's the best Terminator game ever made. They should make a sequel and add some more characters, some more romance options, a free camera, very mod able, give the player the option to switch from first person to third person, and maybe make the t 800 less dumb and more akin to its movie self but not by a Long shot
