Seeing those interviews from people on the street is heartbreaking. So many just refusing to believe her and flippantly dismissing it. Shame.

But what you believe and what you can prove are two entirely different things.

@@alexyoungberg5232 As much as I despise the guy, particularly his politics, I did think that it would have been unfair to deny him his seat solely on one woman's allegations. This was obviously a case of one person's word against another.

Her charge was disingenuous. She worked for him again after he had so "offended" her by his comments he made in her first job with him. If she was so offended why did she work for him a second time? She's no victim and certainly no hero. A true "victim" would never work for that person again under any circumstances. The cast of the view are misandrists and no one at the network cares. Double standard again.

"A true "victim?"" - what does this even mean? Are you an expert in determining 'appropriate trauma reactions?' Your statement just makes it sound like you have no concept of the reality of these situations if you think a person's decisions are made on the basis of such overlysimplified ideology. "I'm offended so I'm leaving and never coming back?" There are so many considerations and pressures a person faces in electing to report inappropriate behavior of a superior, particularly before the 2000s. A person can be victimized, exploited and even abused - and feel unable to act for a variety of reasons. For example a person may be so habituated to what's going on that they don't see the height of the aborrence until looking back from outside of it, or, they may understand it fully but conceptualize it as an unfortunate ugliness they must tolerate and overcome, in order to attain a long term objective. Particularly if those around them normalize or excuse the behavior of the perpetrator. Many roads lead to a very real situation of helplessness, or at least a perception of helplessmess, that allows for the perpetuatuon of harassment behavior. And there are many responsible parties you could point to well before getting to the missteps of the "victim," starting, for instance, with the perpetrator and the structures that raised them to believe they are entitled to misuse a position of power in this way.

Praise God for His Honor Clarence Thomas. Mrs. Thomas is from my state and I am honored by that.
I pray for Ms. Hill's salvation.
    She is so disgusting.
