Can't be too bad for your image to lose the first time you play in a private game. Hope you get another invite. I enjoy your vlogs and I'll say hi if I see you at the table.
I think you should have used one of those hand replay simulators for this instead if you can't film. Enjoyed the hand analysis and coverage tho. Cheers
Gary, I think you played very well. I wonder what would have happened if you bet on the flop when you had the Ace Queen? I hope to see you at Hustler soon!!!
UTG risse MP call and we flat KQo BTN. I think in GTO this would be a fold even if there was no cold call. Do you still think it's a defend and could you give some reasons why, guessing PFE is the largest factor? Maybe I'm playing too tight in live 🤔 normally I expand to only SC and PPs more and maybe AJo here
KQo I am happy to call, KJ I would fold but would call here coz it’s a splashy table. I think KQo performs better than a hand like 87s here tbh. Also calling all pairs for sure, and all suited Ax
@@garyblackwoodpoker wins yes but it's far from optimal in good games. very far. the entire premise of GTO is to not be exploited. but in good games most players aren't going to exploit you and you should be looking to exploit them. if you played rock paper scissors with someone who put down paper every time a GTO player would randomize 1/3rd each rock paper and scissors and win long term. but the person who just puts down scissors every time would absolutely destroy them. strict gto players also tend to play super slow, be torture to play with for anyone who actually wants to gamble and make it hard to get invited into good games. you have a really good table presence btw. you can make a lot of money playing even halfway decent in good games by being fun to play with than some gto bot ever will in the same games. gto bots worry about every cent of short term ev sacrificing tons of long term ev in the process. in tough games gto makes total sense.
I used to play poker every single day and I did the same thing as you did where I would bring a few buy-ins. Looking back, I think it's a mistake not to just buy in for the max I bring, if possible, rather than playing small and then reaching into the reserves. Yes it's high variance but it's also more profitable to maximize your big hands, like in blackjack.
14:44 sudden swing on the loss counter was alarming! At one point, you said something to the effect that you couldn't get any momentum going... bruh, I beg to differ. You developed a lot of momentum 😢 can't fault your play this time, sometimes the cards just don't fall. Better luck next time
Different format this week guys and girls but I wanted to share the VLOG regardless of how it looked. Hope you guys enjoy, kindly consider subbing! ❤❤

I probably should have and they likely both would have folded! I’ll be back in May, I hope to see you then!!
@@garyblackwoodpoker What happens to me is when I try to get a bit sneaky I end up in trouble.
Be safe, see you in May.
These stakes make me seasick especially the 10 on the river.( I play 5 NL )

Haha definitely ran bad on purpose to get an invite back!! I caught a little heat at the end to save the day, I’ll take it.
Hey at least you’ve never tried a bigger game and immediately gotten stuck 5 figures, right? … right?
Too soon brah too soon 😂❤
First! 🎉
Wizard!
The result around 14:30 says -48000 instead of -4800
Probably how it really felt though 😢
Forgot to say I lost a 50k pot then won one straight after
Swingy
