There will only ever be 1 Elvis Presley . I respect all who appreciate his music and sing his music whether they look like the King or not . Elvis Presley impacted music and people like no one before and no one since . The most unique man popular music will ever see .
Wow! This seriously gave me the chills. I have seen my share of impersonaters. I should say that the should be tribute artists because that is the best way to honour the king!
I saw this show in Quebec and aside from not being that big a fan of tribute artists i must say he brought the soul of Elvis to the show. He really draws you in and captures the moment. A must see for any Elvis fan. Long Live The King
The resemblance is uncanny. Amazing what makeup artistry can achieve. Best I've ever seen and he's got the cadence of his voice to match. Kudos to Mr. Fontaine! :)
Wow! I've never seen a better looking Elvis impersonator ever, and I remember watching Elvis's comeback show when it originally aired for the first time. Awesome!
Johnny Harra I have to admit sounds great and much contribution but I have to say Wayne looks, acts, sounds, dresses, EVERYTHING! LIKE EVEN THAT SOUTHERN CHARM!!!
yes, I have not seen all the "elvis" impersonators but Mike Alber is well worth seeing. In my opinion he is the greatest out there. He is keeping Elvis alive for all generations to enjoy a great person. I will always try to see him as much as I can and hope my sweetheart will be along with me too!!! KEEP IT UP MIKE, we'll be seeing you.
Great performance! Being such a fine guitarist adds to persona. You are a fine musician with a fantastic voice. Definitely in top five. My favorite is Justin Shandor since his facial likeness is dead on naturally, plus he has the vocals, all the moves and speech patterns. Justin is still in his late 20's, and has been performing as Elvis Tribute Artist since his teens. It is wonderful having you and so many others to give us so many renditions to enjoy! You have a great following.
I saw an Elvis show at the Omni in Atlanta.....I also saw the one who sounded exactly like Elvis, Jimmie Orion Ellis.....this guy here looks like Elvis, sounds good as well...
Eddie Miles has done a wonderfully great impersonation of Elvis in his younger days too.. also when Eddie was younger, and he does the older Elvis better now since he himself is older.
Shawn Klush is the best Elvis impersonator. Having seen him live recently, I could close my eyes and see Elvis in his place. He sings with Estelle, from Sweet Inspirations, and on stage she'll close her eyes and simply hear Elvis. It's magical.
I went to a Shawn Klush show in Wolverhampton , UK . We waited 2/3 of "his" show until he came on stage , I was not pleased . We had every act but him to "enjoy" . Elvis would have opened his show , sung all the way through , and closed it , showing his cape , that's the difference between the real King and Shawn .
Nice recreation of the '68 Special Elvis right down to "Charlie" holding the mike up to his mouth when he stands to sing, plus the kid can play and sing! High marks!
I'm seriously starting to think the world has forgotten what the real Elvis actually sounds like, thanks to these terrible impersonators. He sounds nothing like this!
There are so many Elvis imitators out there. All do what they can, to best honor Elvis. So who is the best? How do we judge? By there look? By there voice? By there mannerisms? By all 3? I don't know for sure. Many have 2 out of 3. Very few have all 3. Yet even though the few that have all the qualities are amazingly good, they still fall short. Elvis was unique. A freak(in a nice way). A perfect "good" storm. He came along at the right time, looked perfect for maximum attention and had an incredibly versatile voice. They should continue to honor him. But always remember only Elvis had the rare 4th quality...charisma!
+MickeyT54 Ben Portsmouth is Elvis's prince regent. He may not be Elvis, but he has 10 out of 10 of Elvis's attributes, including charisma. Ben barely falls short of Elvis at all....he's on fire and getting hotter.
+MickeyT54 Ha Ha ....I get, too. They broke the mold after Elvis - who was indeed a perfect storm, but Ben Portsmouth is as good a stand-in as you'll get as a live tribute performer. HIs live act is consistently good, and sadly I'll never see the real one.
Why do you say that, Peet? Some (addmittedly very few) give a compelling portrayal of the man, and are helping to keep Elvis in the public consciousness. Maybe you should't paint with such a broad brush. If you will, just take a moment and watch just one minute of Dean Z performing Elvis' early years. You can't help but be impressed with his attention to detail and authenticity. There's literally only two or three guys that really nail it, and he's one of them.
I would say Ryan Pelton could give him a run for his money. This guy is good but his voice isn't really as low. Even when Ryan sings normally (because he didn't know much about Elvis but everyone kept saying he looked like him, sang like him) he still sounds a lot like Elvis. He has the same sound and vibrato as Elvis. Too bad we couldn't put them back in time. A duet between the two would be awesome.
I've seen 2 outstanding Elvis impersonators live; 1 is the late great Andy Kaufman when he opened for ShaNaNa in the late 1970s and the other is Chicago's very own Rick Saucedo.
I don't know why the name the name Wayne Fontaine is written at the beginning of that film. The real name of that guy is Martin Fontaine, he is a french canadian from Quebec, Canada. He used to perform Elvis shows over 10 years during the 90's and more. He's just great !
Martin Fontaine is awsome, So authentic in every Elvis era.He has set the bar so high he is the ETA others will be compared to.He's got the look, voice, moves and costumes so right.
VERY IMPRESSIVE.....great job buddy...one of the best Elvis tributes. My favorite Elvis performance is the "Back Porch Jam ".....and you do it perfect. It was a pleasure to watch you perform.. if only that guys big head wasn't in front of you .....
The best Elvis impersonator was Tim Hilliard who just passed away this month. R.I.P. I had the opportunity to be in the back up band and it was like being on stage with Elvis himself! Precilla Presley saw him perform in a Elvis review show with many impersonators and told the club owner Tim was the best she'd ever seen and felt he gave Elvis the respect he deserved. And as far as she was concerned he could fire all the rest and just keep Tim. True story. He was last residing in San Anton,TX
Keeping in mind that beauty [as well as talent, value, etc.] is 100% in the eye of the beholder, and that there's no accounting for differing tastes, yes, I'm serious. Thank ya, thank ya vera much. :)
it's Martin Fontaine,he's doing the Elvis experience in las vegas on the same stage that Elvis played in the seventies in the same hotel approved by EPE
His name is Martin Fontaine, from the Elvis Story, he is not an ETA but an actor and does a excellent impersonation from all the stages of Elvis's life, check him out before he puts the make up on you will be shocked how he transforms him self to look like Elvis
I haven't seen Elvis live, I'm way too late born to have seen him but I still agree. It doesn't matter how good an impersonator is, he will never be as good as the original.
Yeah! I agree with "StarryONight" ( Victoria Brown) about the hair. Thought he had the pony tail on the wrong side of his head. But credit line too, voice melodious, good timing. right vocal chords, range as good as Elvis, presentation and impersonation worth the money one would pay for this Elvis reborn. E-Club, Professional Promotions
I CAN REMEMBER THIS MAN HAD RED HAIR BENEATH HIS ELVIS WIG BUT HE DID HIS OWN MAKEUP WHICH HE SHOWED HIMSELF APPLYING IT TO HIMSELF IN A RUclips VIDEO WAAY BEFORE HIS PASSING! HE SURE SOUNDED LIKE THE KING AND LOOKED ALOT LIKE THE KING WITH WIG AND MAKEUP APPLIED!!!
UNCANNY!!! & I am the World's No. 1 disbeliever when it comes to pseudoEPs. Amazing.....even a very similar rudimentary but highly effective guitar style.
Very solid recreation of the '68 comeback special! He must have watched the video a million times. lol Kudos from a very hard to please lifetime Elvis fan!
Very talented. I saw Elvis twice. In Las Vegas and then in Omaha. The only tribute artist that makes me feel like I am watching Elvis is Ben Portsmouth.
This is Martin LaFontaine and he is not an ETA. This was a show he did and he approached it as a performer portraying a character. He did his own makeup and did not to an Elvis impression before or since. I believe he did his show in Canada for 7 or maybe 8 years straight. His show spanned Elvis' entire career. He is very talented but all these people ripping on him like he's an ETA when he is not.
By the way just to clarify to all you Elvis fans out there Wayne is an Elvis tribute artist not an impersonator (because an impersonator lip-sincs to the music while a tribute artist actually sings). And all others who dress-up, sing, talk, and groove like Elvis they are tribute artists too. Same goes for other people playing other artists...
Wayne Fontaine audio can be improved if you have an old 5 band equalizer set it up with a deep vee in the center feed that output into the youtube audio makes for a more enjoyable performance.
Greg Duvall No ....it's was Elvis Story at the Capitole de Quebec during 10 wonderful years....now Martin Fontaine restart with Elvis Experience 3 years ago....and for your information Priscilla saw his show last year in Quebec City...and she was for something.... because Elvis Experience was the first show at the Westgate last month....and the show is going back in October for few month so....check on youtube for Elvis Experience....
Yes steveboys1066 I agree totally with you.. but seems Dany Mercury doesn't think our opinion is worth much.. lol I myself have not changed my mind and my own son sounds amazingly like Elvis... go check him out and see what you think of him singing Always On My Mind when he was 18 yrs old.. he's now 36.. it's here on youtube... Shane Pashia ... but he and I both agree that Ben Portsmouth has it ALL. .. mannerisms and voice and personality combined.
Wow.. suprised at the negative response. He's good, He loves the King....great effort...give him his props..Of course he's not As good as the King...but thumbs up...i'd pay to c him i suppose...wish Elvis was here. he'd like him
my opinion wayne is fantastic early elvis is damn hard that,s why you dont see many doing it his trying to get to you great guitar work vocal look,s awesome name is martin not wayne opinion of him same mega martin worthy of elvis outstanding
haha... you would think it was an Elvis computer clip.... but you can see him doing his make up and wig in the clip in the descrpition box below the video... check it out... pretty amazing how he transforms...
This guy is awesome. He has the energy Elvis had. That is what makes his performance so cool.
There will only ever be 1 Elvis Presley . I respect all who appreciate his music and sing his music whether they look like the King or not . Elvis Presley impacted music and people like no one before and no one since . The most unique man popular music will ever see .

Long Live The King
What's his name?
The resemblance is uncanny. Amazing what makeup artistry can achieve. Best I've ever seen and he's got the cadence of his voice to match. Kudos to Mr. Fontaine! :)
Wow! I've never seen a better looking Elvis impersonator ever, and I remember watching Elvis's comeback show when it originally aired for the first time. Awesome!
So good its scary it's like having Elvis back again
I LIKE it !! '68 sitdown & standup shows are my favorite Elvis. He does a good job of capturing the feel of the sitdown shows
Johnny Harra I have to admit sounds great and much contribution but I have to say Wayne looks, acts, sounds, dresses, EVERYTHING! LIKE EVEN THAT SOUTHERN CHARM!!!
Wow sure looks like Elvis to me! He even captured how Elvis talked with his audiences when he did that tv special in that black leather suit.
The `68 Comeback Special........the year Lisa Marie was born.....he was 33......
Wake up dear ❤️
yes, I have not seen all the "elvis" impersonators but Mike Alber is well worth seeing. In my opinion he is the greatest out there. He gets my vote for best Elvis impersonator!!! Great job!
No wonder there have been so many Elvis sightings.
First sing is called.... "When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold Again" by the way guys :) Took me ages to find it! Glad I found it though great tune :P
He is bloody good.. I thought it was Elvis for a while.

Elvis Wade is an outstanding Elvis impersonator he has youtube postings it's fun to check out all the performers doing Elvis tributes
Nice recreation of the '68 Special Elvis right down to "Charlie" holding the mike up to his mouth when he stands to sing, plus the kid can play and sing! High marks!
so far the best Elvis impersonator I have found, could almost be the real one. I am impressed.
look for shawn clush he won the world greatist elvis
+Ricardo van der Vegt you are right just watched him. simply stunning, right voice right mannerism. fantastic
Check out Ben Portsmouth. I think you'll change your opinion.
you should listen 2 doug church xx amazing and sounds sooooo much like ELVIS xxxxxx
I'm seriously starting to think the world has forgotten what the real Elvis actually sounds like, thanks to these terrible impersonators.
He sounds nothing like this!
never heard or seen anyone this good

+Pam Teese Sorry Pam I appreciate your sales pitch but your Ben doesn't do it for me. Only one Elvis. The REAL one.
I'm sorry. All impersonaters are a disgrace.
Why do you say that, Peet? Some (addmittedly very few) give a compelling portrayal of the man, and are helping to keep Elvis in the public consciousness. This guy is pretty darn good. We all seek perfection and it ain't gonna happen. So, give credit where credit is due. Good memories here. Have a happy
I love him so much. He is my favorite Elvis impersonator. I wish he was still alive a playing Elvis in the new Elvis movie 🎥
Ben Portsmouth is great. He's got the Aloha Elvis looks, charisma and voice. One of the best around today.
Shawn and Cody are AMAZING, I agree (I've seen them live in concert, too). And then there's Ben Portsmouth.
I would say Ryan Pelton could give him a run for his money. This guy is good but his voice isn't really as low. Ben Portsmouth is definitely the very BEST Elvis impersonator to come along. He's got it all.. the voice and the looks and the mannerisms.
I've seen 2 outstanding Elvis impersonators live; 1 is the late great Andy Kaufman when he opened for ShaNaNa in the late 1970s and the other is Chicago's very own Rick Saucedo.
The BEST Elvis impersonator I've seen yet!!! AWESOME! Can he dance like Elvis as well? ;)

My mother loved Elvis and she would have loved you XXOOO
Martin Fontaine is awsome, So authentic in every Elvis era.He has set the bar so high he is the ETA others will be compared to.He's got the look, voice, moves and costumes so right.

The face, voice, style... perfect match.
I don't usually like impersonators but he's excellent I'm really impressed!
You're the best Elvis Presley. Did you even more your videos and where I can to sow

Keeping in mind that beauty [as well as talent, value, etc.] is 100% in the eye of the beholder, and that there's no accounting for differing tastes, yes, I'm serious. Thank ya, thank ya vera much. :)

WORLD'S BEST ETA BY FAR. BEN IS JUST AWESOME !!!!!
I haven't seen Elvis live, I'm way too late born to have seen him but I still agree. It doesn't matter how good an impersonator is, he will never be as good as the original.
I think he has it down pat. Great Job Man!
You're right. His name is NOT wayne but Martin Fontaine from Quebec. I saw him doing - Its now or never - and wow...just amazing.

Nice to see someone doing a young Elvis. So is his show a re-creation of the 68 Comeback Special? He's doing a pretty good job.

WOW!!! I really felt like I was watching a segment of the comeback!! Very impressed!!
Has the look and voice has my vote .
Oh, ma boy! The resemblance is close. Elvis look-alikes, oh my! XD
Holy shit, if I didnt know better I wouldve thought that was actually Elvis.
wow! he does a great job! i agree that the voice isnt there but in some parts the voice sounds really good but I really enjoyed it actually
Very solid recreation of the '68 comeback special! He must have watched the video a million times. lol
Kudos from a very hard to please lifetime Elvis fan!
agreed
Todd Allen Herendeen does a really good job, but he also does Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty and lots of other voices/acts as well.
He's just great, he looks like elvis
Holy crap!! He looks and sounds just like Elvis!!
I love Joseph Hall I saw him in Branson. He is very good.
Very talented. I saw Elvis twice. In Las Vegas and then in Omaha. The only tribute artist that makes me feel like I am watching Elvis is Ben Portsmouth.
this gy looks exacly like elvis, ben is a close tie though
This is Martin LaFontaine and he is not an ETA. This was a show he did and he approached it as a performer portraying a character. Elvis não morreu! Parabéns! Dios te bendiga! Hermano!!!
If this singing impersonator doesn't bring Elvis out of hiding ...I don't know what will. :))
Joseph Hall is the best he has the moves and the voice and he looks somewhat like Elvis!
By the way just to clarify to all you Elvis fans out there Wayne is an Elvis tribute artist not an impersonator (because an impersonator lip-sincs to the music while a tribute artist actually sings). Justin Shandor has the voice AND the Moves!
Scott Bruce! He performs at Disneyland in Anaheim.
Great Impression, well done!
one of the best Impersonators I have seen is a guy called PAUL RITCHIE...Listen to him...and YOU HEAR ELVIS ALL OVER AGAIN..
This guy is damn good! Wow.Does not look like him,but the voice, and some of the moves are spot on.Wow!
Shawn klush ie the only guy sanctioned by Elvis Presley Interprises. I have seen Stewart duff. He`s excellent too.
Greg Duvall No ....it's was Elvis Story at the Capitole de Quebec during 10 wonderful years....now Martin Fontaine restart with Elvis Experience 3 years ago....and for your information Priscilla saw his show last year in Quebec City...and she was for something.... because Elvis Experience was the first show at the Westgate last month....and the show is going back in October for few month so....check on youtube for Elvis Experience....
wow wow wow!!wanderfully !Elvis!you look ,sing like him!!bravo!!!👏👏👏👏🌷💋

He looks really like him ❤️
Seeing a really outstanding Elvis impersonator might make you wonder if 1000s of years ago a similar technique was used to fake the Resurrection.
Wow.. suprised at the negative response. He's good, He loves the King....great effort...give him his props..Of course he's not As good as the King...but thumbs up...i'd pay to c him i suppose...wish Elvis was here. he'd like him
I think he is Elvis . He sure looks like him . And can sing and act, like Elvis!!!.
my opinion wayne is fantastic early elvis is damn hard that,s why you dont see many doing it his trying to get to you great guitar work vocal look,s awesome name is martin not wayne opinion of him same mega martin worthy of elvis outstanding
I still think Andy Kaufman did the best impersonation of Young Elvis. Even the King said so on several occasions.
haha... you would think it was an Elvis computer clip.... but you can see him doing his make up and wig in the clip in the descrpition box below the video... check it out... pretty amazing how he transforms...
HE IS REALLY GOOD!!!
he's the best by far! :)
Shawn Klush is the closest one to Elvis. He has the entire package...voice, moves, looks and nuiances. There is none better.
+LT1HILLINGHOE Ben Portsmouth....
Ben Portsmouth is the best ETA ever!
