A Texas-based singer/songwriter known for his wide-ranging fusion of pop, rock, folk, electronic, bluegrass, and hip-hop, David Crowder rose to success in the early 2000s as the leader of the church music group The David Crowder*Band. Over the next decade, the band racked up numerous Dove Awards for their inspirational rock sound, releasing popular albums like Illuminate (2003), Remedy (2007), and Give Us Rest (2012). Rebranding in 2012, simply as Crowder, the singer launched an equally successful, though more stylistically varied, solo career with albums like 2014’s Neon Steeple, 2016’s American Prodigal, and 2018’s I Know A Ghost.

Amazing your music your spirit the words of your music speaks so much volume I feel it whole heartedly thank you I’m thrilled I got to see you in concert 😀 if ever I was asked if I could meet someone in person and to have a conversation with it would be you I love your music your personality your uniqueness I was born with a rare skin disorder took a lot of to get through with all the bullying trauma abuse sadness feeling alone but God was bigger then that when I laid it at his feet told him it’s his my life is his wow the abundance of love I had never felt before and not by people but God himself I’ve learned to be stronger become to trust in him where he wanted me to be I’ve got through all the hurdles with Jesus by my side I raised my son on my own he will be 23 soon I could not thank God enough for him I’m very proud he’s been my Rock my new church family my preschool job though i only work a couple days week I’m blessed cause he knows I Love children I’m good with them I work with the youth from church these are things I never thought would be possible so who knows where God is taking me I’m just excited to be on this ride with him through the rest of my days on earth then for eternity in the kingdom of Heaven I’m here to tell all of you who may read this comment He Is Alive and he loves you he wants you to join him trust me there is no other way... Me too! I haven't heard many christian songs in years. Until now. See, I received an email that had a link to the most recent song "God Really Loves Us". Her name is Emily Lex of Lovely Links. I guess she's a Christian Children's Picture Book writer? I don't know how I am subscribed to her. But there must be a reason. I was compelled to open the email and have a look. She said a friend sent her the song to her text group (not sure what a text group is). So she added it to her worship list and included it in the email to share. I really like the lyrical part that sings "all the stories are true". We need more messages like this. Because I'm always hearing from people how "all it is are stories in a book created by man". I tell them, " every written word has to be created by someone for it to be written down. I'm sure you have also created stories or what have you, down upon writing them down by your hand, right?" THEN When I tell them how mankind were compelled and directed to scribe everything down in the Bible that they witnessed, or were instructed by God Himself to write every account, from any certain time period in history, as to document it. And I'll include "For the record, God Himself wrote EVERY SINGLE word of His law down in stone by His OWN HAND. And it is more than just Ten Short Commandments. But even the original stone tablets had to be transferred verbatim to the Book, albeit the original text are kept absolutely safe and secure within the Ark of the Covenant", they say, "But man changed everything to fit their narrative, so how do we know what's true from what is not?" Then I have to try to explain how nobody is supposed to put words in God's mouth, or take away from anything He has spoken. This would most likely include changing it. But not how it's translated for the purpose to be understood in time. He knows the hearts of man and our true intentions. He knows translation must be done, because He wants Us all to understand His word! *"He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And His word dies not return to to Him empty (he doesn't just speak empty words. He means everything He says and never changes His mind.)."*

Discovered this song in church today. I was so moved by it. I could feel the Holy Spirit move through me like never before. Before I left the house to go to church God led me to Galatians Chapter 5 verse 16 - 26 on Living in the Spirit. I’ve been listening to it ever since I left church.God is telling us to listen to the Holy Spirit and get ready to be a light to others because the story is true. I can't wait to lead worship with this at my church. It's one of those songs where the lyrics aren't hard, as worship music should be. It has an amazing, impactful build up. There's tons of emotion being poured out into it. It's the perfect song to have the whole church in tears. I get teary just listening. The song is so moving. It's incredible. Thank you Crowder for, again releasing a masterpiece with an incredible message.
