The Power of Meditation: How it Was The Center of One Woman’s Healing of Cancer I Maria Menounos

- If you’ve been listening to the show lately, you know that I’ve been on this journey with Dr Joe Dispenza for 6 months, doing his meditations daily and integrating his teachings into my life. His work has been life-changing not only for me but for so many. On today’s show you will hear from Evie Jennes, a woman who combined western medicine and Dr Joe’s meditations while on her cancer journey. In her own words Evie writes:
“In 2016 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was very fortunate in that it was contained to one breast, my lymph nodes were clean as was the rest of my body. I went through traditional treatment, switched up my diet, and exercise and got my ‘warrior’ on. I pretty much sailed through chemo, had a mastectomy, and had the best result you can get. No cancer in the tissue, no spread of the cancer I was ready to live life. Turn the page. In March 2019 I blew out my back and ended up with herniated desks. After my back got worse and I was in crazy pain a second MRI was taken. Spots were found on my pelvis. Not what you want to hear when you have had breast cancer. After a PET scan I found out it was not only in my pelvis, but my spine, shoulder, collar bone, both legs, both arms and my jaw. This was worse than bad. Stage 4 cancer. I was in shock. I never ever thought it would come back. I knew this time I had to treat more than my body but also my ‘being’. I had missed that the last time around. Within 24 hours of each other friends in Europe and the USA told me about Dr. Joe Dispenza. I watched several interviews and I was sold. I went all in. I was doing “ East meets West” this time around for my treatment. I believe that there are gaps in both. I learned how to meditate, create the future I wanted, and heal myself. There were many ups and downs. I got better. I got worse. There were joys and disappointments. There was celebration and complete devastation. But most of all I learned, I grew, I developed, and in the end I healed myself. I continue to ‘peel the onion’ of life every day. Cancer is the best, worst thing that ever happened to me. Through telling my story, and the work of the InnerScience Research Fund my big hope is that meditation becomes part of the standard of (health)care. It has been, and will continue to be the way I begin and end every day. Oh, and today, all my tumor markers are normal.”

Thank you Maria and Evie for this interview. I was at the San Diego event and I’ve been wondering since then what was the difference for you between “maintenance” and “peeling the onion”. Thank you for explaining how you pick the next thing to work on. I was a healee at the event and in 2 months the tumour in my body decreased 22% in volume. I’m so inspired to continue the work, whether I choose to do nephrectomy surgery or not. Love the content you bring out Maria 🙏🏻❤️

@@magm9719 Hi Mag, I worked with Evie in the 90s when she was living and working in Russia. Last year I saw her testimonial and got in touch with her as I was wanting to get into meditation which never came easy to me. I genuinely thought she had beaten cancer and then saw her husband's post on her Facebook page. Evie was such a strong and positive woman with an incredible sense of humour and she would light up any room.
I’m very sorry for your loss Ann, she seemed to be an amazing woman! I wish I had the privilege of knowing her. Like you, I was sure that she had beaten it. She beat it every time it came back before… Cancer is a nasty beast :(
Evie, was that the same Marco Island week long Zach did his testimonial?
No. I was at Marco I. Sept 2020. I believe Zach was several months before that. I saw his on RUclips though. Fabulous !

Sadly Evie Jennes passed away in March 2023 despite immersion herself in Dr Joe's meditations and being involved with Inner Science Research. Sadly Dr Joe' s work does not always help. This is the second person who has done a testimonial at a Week Long event has passed away from cancer despite getting the "all clear"....
Hours after she passed Dr Joe took Evie's video down. This feels dishonest, like they are trying to control the narrative.

In this interview, she said she was addicted to stress. An addiction is hard to get rid of and multiple people have healed themselves and then regressed. It depends on the person and where they're at emotionally and mentally. He's had examples of this in one of this books as well. Out of curiosity, who was the second person who passed?
@@pandorafalemias9819 It works both ways. LOA isn't only positivity. I've experienced good things AND bad things with LOA. Whether it's Joe Dispenza, Bruce Lipton, The Secret, etc, they all mention that you can both heal and make yourself sick.
A wonderful interview. Writing this Evie has transitioned and is now one with the Universe. What I loved about this interview is the way Maria was asking the questions. Really trying to see what reactions to life Evie had, when she fell of the wagon. We all will fall from the bandwagon, because as Dr. Dispenza says, by 35 we all are living life for 95% based on memorized habits.
As such 5% of our conscious mind goes against 95% of memorized habits in our subconscious mind. Not easy.
With this work we have to constantly be changing negative thoughts and negative actions with loving thoughts and actions. Healing goes on every day and as soon as we entertain negative thoughts, as Abraham Hicks says, for more than 16 seconds, you are once again affecting your health negatively

Sadly Evie passed away a few weeks ago. It is upsetting that Joe Dispenza would take down her video, and only hours after she passed.
