i never understood why they changed the girl in the teaser movie and game kinda put me off this alot i liked the 1 more because it was first it was shown to me many years ago changing anyone in anything never goes over well

I heard that in the game was originally supposed to focus on ghosts and that Noctis was supposed to have killed Luna before the game started and that he didn't remember it, but would remember more through dream sequences in the game and that his family's magic was going to eventually consume the user and turn them into a demon (or at least make them possessed by them). That's why there's a see through Luna in the very beginning and why Noctis only sees her in reflective surfaces like windows until he sees her dead body. The scenes come from the Omen trailer if you haven't seen it and want to.
