I never saw WWE Day of Reckoning's Attitude Adjustment animaton before. That was the most realistic and impactful AA I've ever seen in WWE games. Wish I could use that animation on my WWE'12 and WWE 2K17 PS3.
I love realism in video games, but I've noticed that many hardcore gamers also enjoy classic graphics with the games they buy. Definitely an homage to one's childhood comes to mind. However, as heart-warming as this nostalgic trend appears, one can not forget that old school did have it's flaws, in terms of gameplay and glitches. Modern graphics also carry flaws, cause gaming companies back then knew that their resources were limited, so in order to substitute for realism, their games gave players more by focusing more on what could make games better, rather than caring about what made their brands more profitable. You can't take credit away from the developers, but you could never ignore the flaws within the games' themselves, you can't if you're a true, hardcore gamer, rather than a simple, casual fan.
All the old games played just fine it was a basic control scheme that you could learn quickly. The old games had minor flaws sure but weren’t broken to the point of the game being unplayable like the new games. Graphics aren’t shit unless the gameplay is great as well and modern day wrestling games don’t feel like video games they feel like a simulation of wrestling. The newest WWE game is broken beyond just a few glitches and bugs it is an unplayable pile of shit. Hardcore gamers want games that are good games and are fun every WWE game after 2k14 has been mediocre or just plain shit you’d think with the new technology they’d be able to get it right but nope from 2K15 onward the games have been mediocre boring simulations.
NGL when the finisher evolutions get to WWE 12, shit gets boring with the rumbl, ladder, cell, announce table OMG, and pop up finihers... Especially knowing it's been the same animation for almost years
I miss the special effects wwe games would do when you hit your finisher/signature now they just feel like normal moves between camera cuts and sound effects used to be a finisher felt like a devastating move now it just feels like im proforming a normal everyday move 😕
