make sure you wear gloves (latex or something you can throw away). This grease you don't want to get on you. I highly recommend triple guard. good day folks.
Hi mate good advice ,with all the motors i have had i have just about been anal with maintenance every trip the engine gets sprayed with lanotec and wiped down flushed twice each outing ,gearbox oil changed every year and impellor even if it didnt need it ,greased all over at least once a year or more, the last boat i sold the guy looked at the engine a 2002 enduro and said it looked like new .I have seen some shockers of engines and how people go out with them amazes me i wouldnt trust them .
Ryan do you think I should find out what grease that my mechanic uses so I am not mixing grease types. Apparently that's a no no when some greases use a different base?
Hi Daryl, as long as it's marine grease you should be OK but by all means check with your mechanic as I'm not an outboard mechanic and he/she will know better.
Hi mate thanks for those tips. I have an evinrude etec 90hp from 2013 and I have a fluid leaking at the top of the hydraulic cylinder, do you know if it’s repairable or I’ll have to change the whole system ?
love the sunglass markings on your face, lol Thanks for the video instruction
Excellent video, lots of key details, thanks.
