  • I suppose I have seen this somewhere, I just don't remember where. ‪@SawdustandSweatNC‬ we sometimes come up with pretty fair solutions for issues, not all the time, but some of the time. In this video I take on a small thing probably to most folk, but to me, it is a really important fix and deal. The solution to my issue was simple and straightforward. The only problem really was finding the time to make it happen. Well today, I found the time and made it happen. Thank you for joining me on "Bringing The Inside Out or Vise Versa."

EDIT **DO NOT DO THIS** EDIT
Gotta be the one to add my 2 cents. What you could still do is hand tighten the cap then mark the bottom for a hole large enough for your biggest pass through wire/hose/whatever then when you pass the item through you can screw the cover back on. The wire/hose/whatever goes around in a circle as you tighten the cap - no rotating the item, just the cap. Still a good idea put into practice.
    EDIT **INSTEAD** EDIT
Drill your hole from underneath the fitting and behind the screw on cover. Open the hole to a slot then your hose/wire hangs straight down when in use. When not in use, add a rubber stopper to the hole perhaps even putting a flat edge on the cap side. Bug and water resistant that way.

Yep, I can certainly see that as a possibility. Thanks for the insight.
