"In the field of model aircraft, the name Avanti comes from Italian, and its meaning also happens to be going forward.The licensed Arrows Avanti is exactly what the name Avanti stands for, giving inexperienced pilots the confidence to go forward.
Overview:
The integration of Avanti's main wing and tail effectively improve the low-speed handling of the aircraft, significantly lowering the technical requirements. The small-scale size (airframe length 750mm, wingspan 640mm) reduces the site requirements, allowing pilots to take off and land at more sites away from crowds and buildings.

GB great flying, I would always use 4s 1300 batteries. Have ran my Arrows 50mms on 4s hard and checked esc and motor temperatures afterwards and all were great. Zoom zoom zoom Jeff in LA USA

Quickness! GB I wish Arrows would just go ahead and officially rate these 50mm as 3s or 4s.
It is so awesome Adam! I only went to 100% throttle twice and none of the fun flight included good energy management. We are all snowed in, so it has been fun to share this maiden with everyone. It wouldn’t surprise me if at some point soon, just like E-flight, they just officially say 3-4S. I enjoy them both ways, but 4S sure does wake them up! 👊🏻💥👊🏻
Dont forget the skids by the air intake. It will add another 100 flights to your airframe even in grass landings

@GBLynden you can 3d print them. Or you can buy the extra servo covers for like $4 and hot glue them on.

I have the Viper 50 and had to upgrade the ESC to 50amp to cover the extra amp draw in order to run 4S. Wondering if you also upgrade your ESC for this flight or are you gambling the little 30amp ESC can handle the extra power?
Also, maybe it's the video playing tricks, but my Viper looks way faster than the Avanti. I'm curious if that's just because it sounds different or if the video just doesn't do it justice... I clocked mine at 107mph, so it'd be interesting to know what yours does.

That’s totally unnecessary. It has a 40 amp ESC rated for 4S already.
Wait, yours has a 40amp ESC? Mine came with a 30amp, hence the upgrade. I wonder if Arrows has quietly upgraded these recently...?🤔
@@AussieRCPlayground mine is a few years old and I could be mistaken on the 30 or 40 amp ESC because it's been awhile since I had it apart but I do remember it stating 2s to 4S capable and I don't baby it and I have never had a problem
Ooof, be careful, I did an amp test and on 4S these pull just over 40amps. That's why I upgraded the ESC, I wasn't gonna risk setting that little 30amper on fire. But interestingly, you're not the first I've heard of running these jets on 4S with the stock ESC and seemingly, it holds up. I don't know, call me crazy, but I wasn't gonna risk it. LoL.
