Anything 2stroke street is cool
A sound that your neighbours loved to hate back in the day, love it.
Yeah, this is the sound from my youth, moped time👌😎
Would much rather see that over somebody doing a "cold start" on a 2 year old Harley acting like he pulled off some amazing feat. Those clowns would be baffled trying to start a 50 year old bike that's been sitting 20 years. Really good to have ya back 👍
Yeah.. lol. Especially since that Harley Davidson oil pump by design barely gets 10 psi of pressure, and close to zero when someone slows idle down to less than 1000 RPM, to get that potato potato sound. Harley Davidsons require high volume, low pressure oil circulation, due to being air cooled, meaning the engines main bearings are Timken roller bearings, and not bushings with nothing but oil pressure as the bearing like in high oio pressure engines. Air cooled low friction engines don't need high oil pressure to operate, but they still need a considerable volume of oil. Especially when its been sitting for a while and those rollers are dried up, and basically nothing inside those long brass bushing rocker arms. Lifters dry, maybe even the oil pump is dry since that stacked sucker likes to leak when the seals fail from lack of maintanance or use. LOL... yep, teardown, reassemble, then start. But that won't get you RUclips clicks.
Them old 2 strokes are rippers. I had the 250 version and man it flew
Hi Jared , I am new your Channel. Stumble upon it one day. Glad to see you're making videos again.
Nothing wrong with having something different in shop, put some nobbie tire on, ready to use as a parts getter ride.i use 90 grade in gas tank with some sta-bil, I don't leave battery tender on, I plug them in for a couple hrs a week, give the bike a good wash an wax, leather cream were needed.
Keep them all coming lil buddy...❤❤
Super Cool My BIL used to borrow his grandpa's Suzuki 185 that was at least similar. Bikes are cool!
This young man can see what most cannot.! Keep up the good work, young man.
Love your antique gas can ... It's smoking . That means it's oiling . Impressive it would idle . Two strokes crank seals wear and cause a vacuum leak and they will not idle . Your machine sounds pretty good .
I admire the fact that you aren’t afraid of anything. I’ve got a 05 Fatboy and a 2012 Suzuki v strom. Good video brother.
Fukin A man! Nice little score brother.
Gotta keep ‘em old bikes alive.
Got it running quick and easy.
Reminds me of the old Yamaha 250 I had back in the day. Sounds like a good running engine.
I love the old Jap stuff.
Wow. Thats a cool bike👍
Two stroke cycles, most fun you can have fogging skeeters.
🤣🤣🤣
I like all types of motorcycles doesn't matter and don't have to be Harley Davidson only I like them all dirt bikes is fun to ride and hobbies building Harley Davidson or something and nice bike you got ....
Mine does it’s a 77 tho love it so much
I have garage kitties and yard dogs, rodent problem is finally gone
Anything 2 wheels 👍👍👍🏍️🏍️
What a Glorious little bike. Nice job Frost👍
Love it had a 250 myself
I was eyeing that gas can hard lol. I bet that bike would be a blast to bomb around on
It sold fast, you should of snagged it then sold it back to me again years later like the Kawasaki lol. I might just have to tell everyone the story about my dear old gas can.
I figured it would go quick 👍
That was my first bike
Thanks!
Awesome
Heck ya.....
I like that, to cool. Be a fun bike to ride,i bet it rips
It was pretty cool it sold fast, I never even got to ride it. Have to stop out here sometime!
@@jfrost77hd yeah will stop out sometime, you should’ve rode it, I bet it ripped🤣
nice bike! those are hard to find!
I don't know about motorcycle storage, since I like to ride em'. But for all you motorcycle storers out there, what is with mice and motorcycles? I mean seriously, it's a given that when a motorcycle is left in a shed, barn, guarage with stuff piled on top... that it has a mouse living in it. So actually, there you go... if you plan in storeing your motorcycle, place a few mouse traps around it. There you go.
I have the very same bike, it’s in much better condition though 😊
Man for a Chicken Coop Bike it sure is clean! What do you want for it? I had one when I was a kid and I’d like to have it.
It really was a pretty clean bike, sorry but it sold fast. I appreciate you watching!
Don’t forget add oil in the gas
It's oil injected so it mixes it for you...just add gas and make sure there's 2 stroke oil in the reservoir under the seat like I pointed out in the video 👍
That fuel can looks as old as the bike. Did it come with it. 😂
It's about twice as old as that bike! Real cool story on it I might share one day. I value that can more than I do quite a few of my bikes lol.
@@jfrost77hd I look forward to that story. Funny how we collect things that have meaning to us that others may find mundane.
had a yamaha 90 like that same color smoked like that to hahahaha when there dry or you drain them let them sit to long the float can stick but they are fun to beat on ................ † 🛵
Hey if it's smoking it's oiling 👍thanks for watching buddy!
Ur a crazy 😜 man for getting rid of that bike . two stroke bike and Harley are for any man
How much and where R U?
How much i jave a suzuki ts 90
Pull out the dipstick and never put it back. Important.
@@nickpasch1019 What are you talking about?
@@jfrost77hd the rubber stopper for the trans oil fill originally had a steel dipstick inserted into it. If the stopper was fixed by the previous owner by pulling the dipstick out of the rubber stopper you are golden. If the dipstick is still in the stopper it is very bad. The dipstick will vibrate and rub against the primary drive gear. This will grind the dipstick in the middle into steel powder in the trans oil, Eventually the grinding will grind the dipstick in half and drop the bottom half into the trans gears. It happens in less than 1,000 miles from new. Checking the trans oil for steel powder is important, the powder will spoil the ball bearings.
@nickpasch1019 Wow, yeah that'd be bad. Thanks for the clarification I didnt know that. I no longer have the bike but hopefully your comment helps save someone in the future. Thanks for watching!
Pretty sure you'll make a profit on your $40.
I did...and it sold fast too👍
1st
You should keep that bike and use it around your farm to kill the mosquitoes all that fog
🤣🤣🤣
She runs👍🏻👍🏻
