PC gaming from 1993 to 2004 was so fucking amazing.
true
games like DOOM 1, 2 and 3, Unreal Tournament, Quake 1,2, 3 Arena and Team Arena, Mafia, Duke Nukem 3D and even Half-Life games
but tbh im very suprised how glass works in DNF 2001 build
it's like 3 years before Half-Life 2 and it's not even that great in HL2
And then George brossard saw half-life 2. Disaster.
Dont forget serious sam@@Nejby
And red faction - deus ex - goldeneye007 - perfect dark - fallout - hexen - far cry 1 - thief - f.e.a.r - turok - postal 2 - elder scloss morrowind - star wars battefront - manhunt - Gta 3 vice and san andreas - splinter cell - hitman - system shock - tom raider - Etc
7:44 Finally 20 years later I can hear the full theme of the Strip Club.
I know right... Hopefully the modders can patch it together.
Heh heh heh. You think them glasses make you look cool or somethin’?
It was lealked by Lee Jackson last year
@@IDHLEB in 2019, actually.
ruclips.net/video/Eh7cTPjgmKQ/видео.html it was uploaded back in 2019.
Lesson 1 (Club Cut) is so much Duke's Vibe for me
28:59 Fire, Also 29:02
Спасибо за саундтрек, этого билда из 2001 года >:^)
7:57 that song, finally found it after all these years, its from end of the E3 2001 trailer.
Nobody "found" it. It was part of DNF 2001 and it came with the leak.
13:50 this song is spooky as hell
I think, that the game would’ve had a music system like the first soldier of fortune, where in case you where wandering around the map, the music would sound calm, but if you engage in combat with an enemy, the music would change to fit the current situation (to an action track), the tracks of planet forbidden and you’re standing on my foot seem to suggest that.
Hell, maybe the “stringers” would’ve have been used to transition between each track, maybe to make the transition between each music track sound more clean (?)
I think the stingers were just gonna be used for a segment in the beginning of the game where Duke slides down a pole to the Duke Cave and the DNF logo spins around a la Batman.
@@portalfreak7628 like, scripted sequences?
Genius idea of adding modular atmospheric tracks reactive to situational changes in gameplay or environments (levels).
DNF 2001 was going to use scripted music triggers like Half-Life.
Akurat tego szukałem, dzięki wielkie
Well done. :)
Awesome
I love club cut so much
Cool.
Why was Lo Wang rap on here
@GoTi4No Cooooooollll!!!!!
Lo Wang had his own casino in the game called hidden dragon that had a giant dragon breathing fire. So maybe that's why?
love Lo Wang, RIP John Galt
Shadow Warrior but, it's DNF 2001? Kick ass!
Which level and where?
The song at 19:17 seems oddly familiar with OG DOOM
Huh, the E3 2001 trailer music isn't there?
Is this it? ruclips.net/video/VwKVCLXsOYc/видео.html
What exactly are "Planet Forbidden" and "You're Standing On My Foot"? Just placeholder names?
Sounds like actual levels
Looks like they were the actual names of the tracks
29:02
Stinger, not stringer.
man i was expecting the ost to be comparable to doom eternals. it just kind of sounds generic...
Well obviously... The game was't even finished and think about the sort of music from 2001. It would have been rock music as it was the thr age of Nirvana and such
And the ost isn't even this. Most are copies from other games as placeholders
what the fuck boy? this game is 20 years old what are you expecting?!
@@bubba418 Tbh Rock music would be much better than a Doom eternal style soundtrack for DNF. You gonna have a contrast between them too which underlines the personality of both characters much better.
Doomguy is more aggressive and fast in his music (Djent) while Duke is a more hard hitting and methodical character (Heavy metal) .
