I can attest to this, I used to smoke weed a lot to deal with my problems, and it always felt like something took over me and paralyzed me with dread or fear. What I now realize was that demons were ripping the door of my soul open to enter into me through marijuana. I no longer smoke, and these demons still fester in me, but I'm walking with God now to cleanse my spirit and return to His kingdom above. God bless you both.
I haven’t fasted in a while and a lot of shame and temptations came. I now realize that the thief shames and condemns and the lord comforts. Currently fasting right now and I ate… BUT I ask the lord to make me hungry no matter what
I have full faith that The Lord will give you that hunger and development he has for you‼️ it makes me think of “however this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting” it’s context is towards fasting demons out but I believe this can be translated to temptation and other challenges,and it’s so great you are aware of the 2 sorrows we have whenever we fall or other reasons 1. Peter’s godly sorrow brought him back to build the church 2. @svenmking God didn’t start WW2, waving our fist in Gods face when evil strikes or something bad happens is a cope out, we are given free will, God has given us free will to freely decide what we will do, will we choose evil? Or choose righteousness? Now the question of “why doesn’t he just remove all of evil” because if he were to do this he would remove all of us, but instead what God does is turn our misdirection into redirection, he turns our evil into some kind of good, do I personally know the good, No. it comes with faith and reliance and knowing that his good will come out in HIS TIME Romans 8:28 says, *'And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.'* James 1:13-14: *"When tempted, no one should say, 'God is tempting me.' Right now I’m in a very confusing and frustrating phase in my life. My inability to be free of my addictions (p0rn and masturbation) along with the fact that many Christians have rejected me makes me question wether I was actually ever saved and if God’s own people rejecting me means that He has rejected me as well. It brings a lot of pain because even though I’m an adult, I still feel like I’m a child that’s in tears on the inside who’s longing for a father figure because my biological father never gave me any real attention nor showed me any love. I wish I knew what this all meant and why I’m going through it. If it’s just a punishment due to my addictions or if He’s making it clear that He has rejected me. Then I also get thoughts in my head that He won’t accept me anyways because I’m not Jewish. I don’t have any friends at all and I have no one to talk to about this. If I did I would be bombarding them with so many questions. Not out of anger for God, but wanting to know why all this is happening. Why He would make me if I was just going to be a failure. And with the fact that no one other than my mom and my little brother love me, I fail to understand why the Creator of Heaven and Earth would even care about a nobody like me. Why would the most important being in all existence care about me when people in general (other than my mom and little brother) don’t care about me and all have abandoned me and hurt me. I really wish I had answers. Sometimes I feel like giving up and end my suffering. But before I do it I wish I knew why I was even made to begin with. Once my mom is gone I’ll have no one left and I’ll be completely alone. And I don’t know how I’ll cope with that level of loneliness and I fear for the future.

But I want to give you a perspective that has helped me in my own life: What if the friends you are longing for are currently being developed by Christ so that when you meet them, you’ll have a full and fulfilling communion, where you sharpen each other-or vice versa? **You have a purpose in your life**, not because of what I say or anyone else says, but because of what the Lord says. How do we know this? Because you are alive and breathing right now. The enemy will do anything he can to cut your life short, even if that means using your own thoughts. But it's by His grace, mercy, and infinite love that He calls us His children and sacrificed Himself for us when He came down in human form. It’s difficult for me to get involved in a local church again and with others because of the fear of being abandoned again. But I’ll begin to pray regularly and ask for forgiveness. As well as get back to reading scripture again and focus more on Jesus. I know He and the Father could never let me down or hurt me in the way people have (nor would He ever hurt me at all). I’ll try the approach of not thinking about trying to not fall into my addictions and just focus on Him. @danny_r27 regarding porn addiction and masturbation. I was like you 3 months ago, in fact i was heavily addicted to porn and masturbation since i was in middle school. So probably about 5 years. I was unable to control myself, at best i could only hold myself for 5 days. But it changed when i joined college, i took a lesson about Christianity, i began to take Jesus seriously and start reading the bible. Sure i was still struggling, but when i began to read the bible i managed to hold myself from watching porn or masturbating for 1 month. Sadly i failed a lot, until 3 months ago when i actually began to say no and consolidating some strategies. Here's the strategies in case you need it, it works for me. But remember the even with strategies it's up to you, if you try with 100% of your strength to resist the temptation, God will eventually deliver you from it. 1. Whenever you have lustful thought, focus on other things such as what Jesus did on the cross or reciting some verses such as matthew 5:27-30 2. Reframe the thought and think negatively about it, for example whenever i wanted to watch porn i would say in my mind "porn is dumb, and actually destroy my brain, i don't want it". 3. Pray and ask God to defend your mind. 4. Read the bible everyday 5. If reciting verses isn't enough, try to focus on simple thing such as the wall or close your eye and take a deep breath until you calm down. 6. Wait 23 minutes, most of your desire will be gone after a while. 7. Lock all of the apps which lead to those things. Maybe tell your brother or mom to lock it. Even if you can't tell them, you can lock it yourself, an extra step usually make you more unlikely to do the thing. 8. Avoid all of the things which trigger you to it, if you play a game or watching a movie and feel like to do it because of it. Then stop. I believe if you try all of the things i mentioned you will not be addicted anymore, yes the first month wasn't easy, the temptation wasn't easy to deal with. But Remember that God won't let you be tempted above what you can handle. I was like you and questioned myself a lot. But now whenever some lustful thought come, i can handle it easily and doesn't take so much effort anymore.
I hope my reply can help you to overcome your addiction. Oh obviously don't forget to make yourself busy either with work or maybe go to gym, it might help you on the first month.

Sometimes the devil wants to put doubts and bad thoughts into my mind. But now that I think about it... I know who's putting those thoughts in my mind. There is no doubt that the devil is the one putting those thoughts in my mind... that means there is no doubt he exists. If there's no doubt that the devil exists, that only means there's no doubt that that my dear God exists too. So they both exist, but my Lord is greater than my human mind could ever imagine. The devil's sole existance is a proof that God exists, use that to thwart his evil plans. I'm not an expert, I've read almost nothing from the Bible, but I want to learn. I want to grow closer to Him, because I love Him and I know He loves me too. I've been praying more deeply a while ago... And I'm realizing that everytime I have a deep conversation with Him rather than just repeating words, I get a revelation. Thank you, my Father ❤️

Count your blessings every single day no matter how small they may seem it can always get worse!!! Change takes time have patience in yourself you seem you are really overthinking it is driving you mad please stop doing that!! You don't have to worry about anything just give it up to God he will handle your burdens he has the final word in all matters anyway so what is the point in trying to figure so much of our lives out right? I lost my daughter 5 years ago and was not their beside her I really thought it was the end for me but through my unwaving faith in God I together he got me through it and today I have never been happier, true story. I’ve been pondering about this for a while, and I’m hoping you or anyone could respond for that matter. How much do we need to spread the word? Are we suppose to do everyday? Honestly I’m not even too sure anymore, I have spread, even if it’s just small cold cup from God. But there’s usually this crushing grief, shame and discomfort all in one and I can’t tell if it’s from God or not. I haven’t denied him in front of others. Honestly I don’t know the feeling is gone but I’m not sure if God let it go away, or if I feel more at peace cuz I’m in the hands of the enemy and I don’t want to be
Matthew 28:19-20 - "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." 1 Peter 3:15 - "But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect." Whenever the opportunity arises to spread the gospel unto someone then that’s how many times you do it, there is no set number, I remember when I would go out I would pray and say “Lord even if it’s one person today or none, I will still give you praise” spreading the gospel can be unto anyone too, even your own family And then fact that you have this vigilance and sober mindedness and even concern of being in the enemies hands gives a huge indicator that you are in The Lord hands. Shame and grief is good for turning back to God when we fall but there is 2 kinds of sorrow 1. Peter, denies Jesus, repents in shame and sorrow and Jesus uses him to build the church 2. Judas, betrays Jesus, repents in shame and sorrow, but continued to dwell in it, the sorrow turned into condemnation alongside the shame and sorrow which ultimately ate him alive. Did people of the same era do to the same standard as the apostles? It's all worrying, and I can't help but think I must do the same. Maybe im overthinking? And honestly I think I failed what Peter said in Peter 3:15, i sent an email to somebody when I was getting work experience and spread, well maybe not spread but told them that Jesus loves you and all that. And my mum said I shouldn't do it because, I shouldn't be forcing people? Maybe it is or isn't, but she honestly meant well, she didn't have a problem with me being a christian, she still loves me, but when she asked for the reason why I believe in Jesus I couldn't, I don't think I denied him saying that im not a christian but I couldn't get the words out on why the grief before or her angered tone and just in the moment which I won't describe had me shaken. Events prior and stuff thinking about the preaching matter, and stuff in the heart telling me to spread the word to this person and such and such, not knowing if its from God because spreading the word is always good and aligns with the word of God but can satan hide behind It too? I don't see how this job I think God told me to get allows me to use my gifts. But I can do it temporarily for housing and to save for a car and build new skills and move on afterwards. so, here's what I've been hearing, and its really weird cause it doesnt align directly with scripture but it also in no way disagrees with it either. When I go out for a run, I'll hear (jn my head, not with my ears) "[my name], stop." So.. yeah.. and when I do, I usually kinda feel convicted to lay down on the grass. I'm scared of bugs, though, and usually ill get distressed trying to decipher if it is God or not, usually my internal conflict goes like this: 'Why would God have me lay on the grass? To test my faith, see if I am telling the truth when I say that the Holy Spirit governs my life! But what if it isn't God? I mean the 'command to lay down' came to me the exact same way that I might think a random thought! Isn't God's voice different? But what if it is God! How evil and disobedient I am for doubting and resisting his will for so long! I'm sorry, Lord- but why wouldn't it be me? I was searching in my mind for what God would say, so could it not be me fabricating this?' And so on.. anybody got any tips? I mean the two times it's happened I've ended up laying down, and I think I'm going to keep doing it because it might help with my fear of bugs or something, and if there's a chance it's God, I don't want to rely on the chance that it isnt.
Avoid lying down in the grass if you don't actually want to do that. I've had intrusive thought in my head give me directions like that, and it turned out to not be God, but it would definitely weaponize my fear of "disobeying God", which started a religious OCD thing that got worse over time. It also involved an irrational fear of failing a "test" like God was grading me on weird minutia. I was still in school, so I was very used to being graded all the time. For those with the Holy Spirit, your true nature is harmony with God, and not disobedience or evil. That's just the enemy trying to condemn you and accuse you of stuff. Also, I've heard God's voice in my mind, and it was different than a random thought, it came with a peace that surpassed all understanding. There was clarity instead of confusion.

@@Winkify it’s awesome you’re having success at such a young age ‼️‼️I’ve struggled with it too when I was an assistant store manager at 19 and I want you to ask yourself is this bringing you away from God or closer to God? do you have a hidden fear behind this of some sort? For me, I stayed because I had this hidden fear of not having money for the future and I ended up idolizing it and lastly, are you doing it for the glory of God or your own glory? For myself I was bringing God into my own plan which is self desire and fear of my future, but Gods plan was to turn that idolizing and bring me to quit, did he bring good out of it while I was there in my own plan? Yes, but ultimately he had something far better And one more, if it were to completely disappear or God would take it away, would it be something you could live without? Would it bring sorrow (it’s okay to have sorrow it’s human but would it always be that way or would it eventually turn into gratefulness for The Lord for taking it away?) I can attest to this, I used to smoke weed a lot to deal with my problems, and it always felt like something took over me and paralyzed me with dread or fear. What I now realize was that demons were ripping the door of my soul open to enter into me through marijuana. I no longer smoke, and these demons still fester in me, but I'm walking with God now to cleanse my spirit and return to His kingdom above. God bless you both.

I haven’t fasted in a while and a lot of shame and temptations came. I now realize that the thief shames and condemns and the lord comforts. Currently fasting right now and I ate… BUT I ask the lord to make me hungry no matter what
I have full faith that The Lord will give you that hunger and development he has for you‼️ it makes me think of “however this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting” it’s context is towards fasting demons out but I believe this can be translated to temptation and other challenges,and it’s so great you are aware of the 2 sorrows we have whenever we fall or other reasons

2. Judas sorrow (that turns from godly sorrow, into the enemies deceit) brought so much shame that he killed himself

Right now I’m in a very confusing and frustrating phase in my life. My inability to be free of my addictions (p0rn and masturbation) along with the fact that many Christians have rejected me makes me question wether I was actually ever saved and if God’s own people rejecting me means that He has rejected me as well. It brings a lot of pain because even though I’m an adult, I still feel like I’m a child that’s in tears on the inside who’s longing for a father figure because my biological father never gave me any real attention nor showed me any love. I wish I knew what this all meant and why I’m going through it. If it’s just a punishment due to my addictions or if He’s making it clear that He has rejected me. Then I also get thoughts in my head that He won’t accept me anyways because I’m not Jewish.
I don’t have any friends at all and I have no one to talk to about this. If I did I would be bombarding them with so many questions. Not out of anger for God, but wanting to know why all this is happening. Why He would make me if I was just going to be a failure. And with the fact that no one other than my mom and my little brother love me, I fail to understand why the Creator of Heaven and Earth would even care about a nobody like me. Why would the most important being in all existence care about me when people in general (other than my mom and little brother) don’t care about me and all have abandoned me and hurt me.
I really wish I had answers. Sometimes I feel like giving up and end my suffering. But before I do it I wish I knew why I was even made to begin with. Once my mom is gone I’ll have no one left and I’ll be completely alone. And I don’t know how I’ll cope with that level of loneliness and I fear for the future.

A true follower of Christ represents what Jesus taught-being loving, kind, and seeking to build up others (Galatians). The Bible says, *"If you love me, you will keep my commandments."* So, individuals who have rejected you aren’t following the same Christ, because Christ sat with sinners and spoke with them, seeking to better them and pull them closer to the fulfillment of true life (following God). He protected a woman who was accused of adultery, saying, *“Let the one among you who is without sin cast the first stone.”* He loves you, bro.
**Bryce Crawford**, in an interview about his testimony, said: *“I didn’t want my life, so I gave it to someone who wanted it.”* Jesus Christ wants your life and wants to develop, care for, support, and give you purpose. The fact that you're breathing right now means God is not done with you, and it certainly doesn't mean that He rejects you.
**I also want to point out that you said you feel like a little child even though you're an adult and now you feel fatherless.** The Bible says, *“Come to me as little children, for they shall inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.”* You're already taking the first step by feeling like a little child, which makes it easier to access the Lord because little children are full of wonder and curiosity. You also mentioned feeling fatherless. The Bible says that He will be a father to the fatherless. Jesus Christ will be the role you need in your life-whether that’s as a source of laughter, joy, a counselor, a friend, or a father.
**Regarding your struggle with addiction to porn and masturbation**, I want you to think about it like this:
When you constantly focus on something you shouldn’t do-like saying, “I shouldn’t eat a cookie because I want to get fit”-the more you think about the cookie, the more likely you’ll end up eating it. But if your mindset were focused on getting fit, that seed would have been planted more firmly in your mind. Just like with sin, the more we focus on not wanting to fall into it, the more likely we are to give in, because we're constantly thinking about it. But when we keep our minds focused on Jesus, there's no room left to think about sin, or even the idea of having to give it up. We’re so immersed in giving our lives to Christ that sin loses its hold. The more you spend time with Jesus, the more you become like Him. Meditating on the Word, praying, and acting on it will make you more like Him.
**As for the situation you're in,** I can't tell you why you're in it, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that the Lord Jesus Christ will pull you out and bring good from it. Just as He raised Lazarus from the dead, He will raise you and your situation from the dead. Instead of it being a wound to hide, it will become a witness to someone else going through a similar struggle. His ways are greater than ours. The Bible even says, *"You do not know what I am doing now, but one day you will."*
**When it comes to finding friends,** I recommend getting involved in a local church and participating in every event they have. You'll meet other believers who truly respect Christ. But I want to give you a perspective that has helped me in my own life: What if the friends you are longing for are currently being developed by Christ so that when you meet them, you’ll have a full and fulfilling communion, where you sharpen each other-or vice versa?
**You have a purpose in your life**, not because of what I say or anyone else says, but because of what the Lord says. How do we know this? Because you are alive and breathing right now. The enemy will do anything he can to cut your life short, even if that means using your own thoughts. But Jesus Christ wants your life. He loves you and cares for you. You're right about not being worthy-none of us are. But it's by His grace, mercy, and infinite love that He calls us His children and sacrificed Himself for us when He came down in human form.
I know for a fact that The Lord is with you, he loves you and will never desert you

It’s difficult for me to get involved in a local church again and with others because of the fear of being abandoned again. But I’ll begin to pray regularly and ask for forgiveness. As well as get back to reading scripture again and focus more on Jesus. I know He and the Father could never let me down or hurt me in the way people have (nor would He ever hurt me at all). I’ll try the approach of not thinking about trying to not fall into my addictions and just focus on Him. I’ll also remember that whenever I feel tempted that He always provides a way out so I can endure.

@danny_r27 regarding porn addiction and masturbation. I was like you 3 months ago, in fact i was heavily addicted to porn and masturbation since i was in middle school. So probably about 5 years. I was unable to control myself, at best i could only hold myself for 5 days. But it changed when i joined college, i took a lesson about Christianity, i began to take Jesus seriously and start reading the bible. Sure i was still struggling, but when i began to read the bible i managed to hold myself from watching porn or masturbating for 1 month. Sadly i failed a lot, until 3 months ago when i actually began to say no and consolidating some strategies.
Here's the strategies in case you need it, it works for me. But remember the even with strategies it's up to you, if you try with 100% of your strength to resist the temptation, God will eventually deliver you from it.
1. Whenever you have lustful thought, focus on other things such as what Jesus did on the cross or reciting some verses such as matthew 5:27-30
2. Reframe the thought and think negatively about it, for example whenever i wanted to watch porn i would say in my mind "porn is dumb, and actually destroy my brain, i don't want it".
3. Pray and ask God to defend your mind.
4. Read the bible everyday
5. If reciting verses isn't enough, try to focus on simple thing such as the wall or close your eye and take a deep breath until you calm down.
6. Wait 23 minutes, most of your desire will be gone after a while.
7. Lock all of the apps which lead to those things. Maybe tell your brother or mom to lock it. Even if you can't tell them, you can lock it yourself, an extra step usually make you more unlikely to do the thing.
8. Avoid all of the things which trigger you to it, if you play a game or watching a movie and feel like to do it because of it. Then stop.
I believe if you try all of the things i mentioned you will not be addicted anymore, yes the first month wasn't easy, the temptation wasn't easy to deal with. But Remember that God won't let you be tempted above what you can handle. I was like you and questioned myself a lot. But now whenever some lustful thought come, i can handle it easily and doesn't take so much effort anymore.
I hope my reply can help you to overcome your addiction. Oh obviously don't forget to make yourself busy either with work or maybe go to gym, it might help you on the first month.

Sometimes the devil wants to put doubts and bad thoughts into my mind. But now that I think about it... I know who's putting those thoughts in my mind. There is no doubt that the devil is the one putting those thoughts in my mind... that means there is no doubt he exists.
If there's no doubt that the devil exists, that only means there's no doubt that that my dear God exists too. So they both exist, but my Lord is greater than my human mind could ever imagine.
The devil's sole existance is a proof that God exists, use that to thwart his evil plans.
I'm not an expert, I've read almost nothing from the Bible, but I want to learn. I want to grow closer to Him, because I love Him and I know He loves me too.
I've been praying more deeply a while ago... And I'm realizing that everytime I have a deep conversation with Him rather than just repeating words, I get a revelation.

I’ve been pondering about this for a while, and I’m hoping you or anyone could respond for that matter. How much do we need to spread the word? Are we suppose to do everyday? 1 Peter 3:15 - "But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect."
Whenever the opportunity arises to spread the gospel unto someone then that’s how many times you do it, there is no set number, I remember when I would go out I would pray and say “Lord even if it’s one person today or none, I will still give you praise” spreading the gospel can be unto anyone too, even your own family
And then fact that you have this vigilance and sober mindedness and even concern of being in the enemies hands gives a huge indicator that you are in The Lord hands. Shame and grief is good for turning back to God when we fall but there is 2 kinds of sorrow
1. Peter, denies Jesus, repents in shame and sorrow and Jesus uses him to build the church
2. Judas, betrays Jesus, repents in shame and sorrow, but continued to dwell in it, the sorrow turned into condemnation alongside the shame and sorrow which ultimately ate him alive. That is the sorrow, shame, grief that the enemy wants you to have so you can be eaten alive by it

Did people of the same era do to the same standard as the apostles? It's all worrying, and I can't help but think I must do the same. Maybe im overthinking? And honestly I think I failed what Peter said in Peter 3:15, i sent an email to somebody when I was getting work experience and spread, well maybe not spread but told them that Jesus loves you and all that. And my mum said I shouldn't do it because, I shouldn't be forcing people? Maybe it is or isn't, but she honestly meant well, she didn't have a problem with me being a christian, she still loves me, but when she asked for the reason why I believe in Jesus I couldn't, I don't think I denied him saying that im not a christian but I couldn't get the words out on why the grief before or her angered tone and just in the moment which I won't describe had me shaken. Events prior and stuff thinking about the preaching matter, and stuff in the heart telling me to spread the word to this person and such and such, not knowing if its from God because spreading the word is always good and aligns with the word of God but can satan hide behind It too? so, here's what I've been hearing, and its really weird cause it doesnt align directly with scripture but it also in no way disagrees with it either.
When I go out for a run, I'll hear (jn my head, not with my ears) "[my name], stop."
So.. yeah.. and when I do, I usually kinda feel convicted to lay down on the grass. I'm scared of bugs, though, and usually ill get distressed trying to decipher if it is God or not, usually my internal conflict goes like this:
'Why would God have me lay on the grass? To test my faith, see if I am telling the truth when I say that the Holy Spirit governs my life! But what if it isn't God? I mean the 'command to lay down' came to me the exact same way that I might think a random thought! Isn't God's voice different? But what if it is God! How evil and disobedient I am for doubting and resisting his will for so long! I'm sorry, Lord- but why wouldn't it be me? I was searching in my mind for what God would say, so could it not be me fabricating this?'
And so on.. anybody got any tips? I mean the two times it's happened I've ended up laying down, and I think I'm going to keep doing it because it might help with my fear of bugs or something, and if there's a chance it's God, I don't want to rely on the chance that it isnt.
I have this doubt too, I would like to fix it so I can obey Him properly.
Avoid lying down in the grass if you don't actually want to do that.
I've had intrusive thought in my head give me directions like that, and it turned out to not be God, but it would definitely weaponize my fear of "disobeying God", which started a religious OCD thing that got worse over time. It also involved an irrational fear of failing a "test" like God was grading me on weird minutia. I was still in school, so I was very used to being graded all the time.
For those with the Holy Spirit, your true nature is harmony with God, and not disobedience or evil. That's just the enemy trying to condemn you and accuse you of stuff.
Also, I've heard God's voice in my mind, and it was different than a random thought, it came with a peace that surpassed all understanding. There was clarity instead of confusion.
I remember this one time where I felt compelled to turn a lamp on and off, I now know that that is not of God

For me, I stayed because I had this hidden fear of not having money for the future and I ended up idolizing it and lastly, are you doing it for the glory of God or your own glory? For myself I was bringing God into my own plan which is self desire and fear of my future, but Gods plan was to turn that idolizing and bring me to quit, did he bring good out of it while I was there in my own plan? Yes, but ultimately he had something far better
And one more, if it were to completely disappear or God would take it away, would it be something you could live without? Would it bring sorrow (it’s okay to have sorrow it’s human but would it always be that way or would it eventually turn into gratefulness for The Lord for taking it away?)
I recommend fasting and praying over it for it and I can guarantee you that the Lord will show you an answer
