I want to study medicine as i am inspired by both doctors and healthcare professionals and how they can bring such positive and life changing impacts to peoples lives, especially during these challenging times. I am also a very compassionate and sociable person and so by combining both my love for science and people, I believe this would be the perfect career for me.
I definitely want to study medicine as the roles of doctors hold a significant part in society especially during this pandemic we are undergoing. Similarly the numerous medical issue that run through families that I have had to adjust from a young age has made it clear that I want to give back to my community. Finally your videos have definitely encouraged me ask can tell we have similar interests into why medicine is the course for us. Thank you love the vids🥰
Thank you very much for this video! It was very helpful to see ur thought process in answering these questions and has helped me to organise my own thoughts 🥰
I want to study medicine because form my personal experience with doctors and other healthcare professionals I really admired the leadership role of the doctor as part of the team in providing care. I also like the changing nature of medicine and how practices are changing all the time.
I would like to study medicine as, it’s something that’s challenging and also has a great satisfaction and honestly at the end of the day if I know that I’ve done anything to aid someone even a little bit it’ll keep me motivated to carry on and also make me want to do better and be better !
Hi Julia, Thanks for doing these videos, they have literally been a gift!! Could I suggest you do a video on UCAT time saving tips for each section please xx
Hey! Thanks so much for the suggestion, I’ll see what I can do:)) I’m abroad atm so a little slow on making videos (sorry) but will try my best. In the meantime though feel free to check out my other videos on each section of the UCAT on my channel - I’ve mentioned some of my top tips for each section in those 😄
My interest in a career in medicine has been reinforced by my volunteering and work experience. The combination of the sciences, the latest technologies and social interaction makes medicine such an appealing subject area to me.I want to work for people and help the ones in need.
I want to study medicine because I came here when I was 10 and I came from a war torn country where people were killed and terrorised everyday I’ve seen things that have traumatised me till this day and during that time it was the doctors and the nurses who helped them and saved them. I came here to have a better education and use this opportunity to save others💜💕.
I would like to study medicine because of a combination of my part - time job in a care home, which has given me an insight into the rewarding nature of providing care for patients as well as my work experience placements which have highlighted the importance of teamwork in this profession. :)
@12:59 I did not figure it as each frame increases as square numbers. I chose D instead of C becos the three shapes above the two black pentagons are arranged in a nice row much like the two white triangles and the two black triangles in the series. C's white squares are arranged rather randomly. It's pretty hard to get things right under time limit. If there is no time limit, I bet everybody can figure things out :(
@22:09 If the second arrow is turning clockwise in 45 degrees increment, it should still end up staying on the right side of the other arrow in the box, why does it suddenly jump to be in the left side of the box? Shouldn't it stay on the right side of the up facing left arrow? Isn't fair when both arrows are black. Which AR question is this from within Medify? I really want to take a closer look at it.
I would like to be a doctor because I have always wanted to care for people but never really knew in what capacity. After experiencing first hand the difference a good doctor can make, I would like to pursue medicine.
That question @19:58 is just being so ridiculous. I bet even those who set that Medify questions (apart from the crazy original setter) could not solve it in time!
@sakibahmed_ I was inspired to do medicine in my teenage years firstly by my interest in biology, going on to study it at A Level and then studying biomedical science at uni, and now hopefully getting to apply knowledge of the human body to real life scenarios would be a enjoyable, interesting and challenging.
there are many reasons for my interest in medicine, amongst them, the oppertunity of life long learning, being able to pass my skills onto others and being able to make a difference in the community .(maria.hassan.01)
For me it’s the constant learning and helping others that originally drew me to medicine - then this year my youngest brothers cancer diagnosis and 6 months spent in Birmingham’s children hospital really drove my passion further with all the time I spent in and around the hospital. Insta - @__x__abigail__x__
I think it was the fact that none of my friends or relatives would ever feel comfortable going to a doctor unless they were in agonizing pain and that's probably what inspired me to make a difference and be the change. @tkarbanova
im going to be honest - I don’t even want to study medicine. I’m entering this giveaway on behalf of a friend who is struggling to afford ucat revision resources. i hope you can understand and I can still enter the giveaway on her behalf. It would mean the world to give her this opportunity! thank you - my Instagram is beautybycharlie3 💗💗
I am intrigued by the human body and it’s intricacies. As part of the NHS I would be there for everyone and still be able to learn about the field I am most interested in. @frideswidec
I want to do dentistry because it is a highly rewarding and hands-on career yet challenging. I love the fact that you will continuously have social interactions and there will be a lifelong learning opportunity involved in dentistry ig - @dentalstudent.asp
i want to do medicine not due to a revelation or past experience but simply so i can help a lot of people in the future. Covid-19 has highlighted how paramount health care is in the UK, and i want to be part of this in the front lines. @jaynandray
@arias_smile1 The reason why I want to do medicine is because it is a profession that requires you to think both logically (e.g. remembering illnesses) and emotionally (to understand the human being your treating) which is a challenge but something I know I can do and excel at 😊
My younger sister was in and out of the hospital when I was a child so I practically lived there too and it was really inspiring to see all the doctors and nurses that worked together as a team to help her, along with many many other people and it made me realise I wanted to be apart of that when I get older so that I can also help people 😊 @taylorr0512
The reason why I want to study medicine will probably sound little silly to most. I want to become a doctor because for the longest time in my life my dream was to be a superhero and I feel this is the best way to make my dream come true. Insta: @safmed12

I always love to be helpful and love when people can depend on me, for example, if someone asks me a question and I don't have an answer, then I feel really guilty that I couldn't help them out (I guess that's one of the reasons I also love learning languages - to be able to help people that can't be understood). As a doctor, it would be amazing to have the knowledge and experience to allow people to depend on me in really important fields, such as their health and life. @vic_late
i would like to study medicine because i had an operation when i was younger and everyone was so nice, it was so inspiring! i’ve wanted to be a doctor ever since! :) instagram @harleymillor

good for personal statement
Hii at 12:13 I also realised 1,4,9,16 are consecutive squared numbers. AR used to be weakest section but now it's one of my best. Great video! Xx
