Is it because the old man chimp would be attacked by the younger, bigger male chimp? I know of a few zoos that had a large chimp group and also had a few really old males in that group. The younger fully grown males started to pick on the elderly males since they were an easy target and could help further their aspirations for rank. So a few of those zoos moved the elderly males out of the large group and into a group made up of only the elderly males. They did that to ensure they wouldn’t be hurt. Maybe that is the fear here? It would be better to keep them all together but maybe they have a good reason for doing it this way.

扉の前で何かを待って居る様な様子にやりきれないもどかしさを感じます!１番の楽しみおやつが無いなんて!自分達だっておやつは格別なのに!つむぎちゃん達なら尚更!どうしてこんなに簡単な事もやろうとしないのか、ちょっと考えればわかりそうなものだけど本当に呆れます!ここ迄無視続けるなんて!ありがとうございました✨🙏
なぜ、よってきてくれているのに相手をしてあげないのか？そもそも動物がそれほど好きではないのかと思います。地方では動物が好きで飼育員になるというより仕事だからやっている、という感じします。残念な状況。ありがとうございます。🙏✨

外のオス２頭はガハガハしながらじゃれ合い遊びをしていましたが、室内組は特にやる事もなく、元気であるべき子供も暇そうにしてて・・・ここの動物園はなんか物足りないですね(汗
もっとチンパンジーたちが暇を持て余さないような道具を、より取り入れるべきかと個人的に思いました。
何度申し入れしても何もやろうとしない動物園なんですよね。これで公営動物園なんですから困ったものです。
