Thanks for the barn check and how you decide about increasing or decreasing feed! I loved the cow checks, getting to see them just chilling and how you decided how they are doing. The small things that are done to keep them safe and healthy/happy. Watching the goats come out of the smaller areas/wasted space was awesome ( little lawnmowers). Once the crops are up it would be great to see an aerial view of farm. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us! God bless your life’s journey!
Hi Andrea awesome awesome awesome video bottle calf's are so much fun I pet our calf's all the time have a wonderful wonderful wonderful weekend Andrea your biggest fan always always always Tom forst
Thanks for the tour super livestock angus crossed with limousin?, coming into fly season had a bulling hiefer that got summer mastitus last year lost a quarter,a first here,do ye use garlic blocks, best wishes from here
We used to cross lim, but have simmental bulls now! Flies absolutely suck. We don’t use garlic, but we do feed altosid/clarifly and use insecticide as necessary!
Nice job showing the AI process and the highs and lows of it. What's your long term plans for the AI program? Replacing the older cows with better genetic replacement heifers, higher weaning weight steers and improved genetic herd bulls?
great question! I would say a combo of 1. enhancing our replacement heifers to make the herd in 10+ years even better and fix some traits in specific females. (We have EPDs on our cows too) Then raising even better feeder calves and therefore, fat cattle. Maximizing rate of gain, marbling, REA size, etc!
We do have a good amount that go to pasture. The ones you see in the barn stay in the barn for the summer. They're older cows that do better in the barn and we don't have enough pasture for everyone.
I like watching your videos! Keep them coming!!
Thank you! Will do!

Why are the cows/caves not on pasture but in a barn ? Will they go out to pasture later?
we don't have enough pasture for all of our cows to go to pasture. The cows in the barn are older cows that do better in the barn too!
Minnesota me born St Paul
Hey, you don’t have any poop on you, just slobber lol!
😂😂😂😂
So I guess calving is over with? You wound up with 10 sets of twins?Total calves?
we have 2 cows left yet, but 10 sets!
Oi 👍👍👍👍
