Nice setup. Do you have a spot to hold a cow if you need to assist with a puller? We’ve had good luck rebreeding prolapsed cows. Nothing wrong with small calves. Easy birth and quick nursing and recovery leads to putting on weight quickly.
56 pairs is about the perfect number for both buildings. Thinking fall and spring calving to be weaning, backgrounding, and selling back grounded feeders every 6 months. So 112 cows.

We have pulled them in the arrow-quip. . .calving pen would be nice but using what we have for now.

Right now they're saying 3-6" for us Sunday and then turning to rain Monday morning. 🤮😆
