Years ago, I would have gotten worked up becos of this comparison between the two countries that made Malaysia look bad. Now, I just laugh. Is it because I now able to see the funny sides of things, or is it because I now know how crappy things are with our homeland? Anyhow, good one Jason, and wishing Singapore a happy National Day!
In the spirit of intellect comedy, I have to say that the dialogue was well crafted to the residential audience in both countries. From a political viewpoint, I have to indulge that it adds a prolonged dampener to the quality of government on the Malaysian side which admittedly, is a fact... far from fiction. If taken with serious after thoughts, the people in question would realise that their lack of competency in all angles may dwarf their ability to re-correct themselves.
To feel blessed, Singaporean just have to talk to a Malaysian / watch Malaysia news. For Malaysian, we too feel blessed after watching a zombie movie. We are grateful bcz at least we don't have zombies in Malaysia... YET. In the spirit of 'Malaysia Boleh', I wouldn't be surprise if our blood sucking politicians might one day decided to turn to zombies. So Singaporean, Happy National Day! 🇸🇬 You are truly blessed to be part of a stable & progressive country! May you / Singapore continue make us Asian proud!
