This is a solid presentation - I wish the government would make it mandatory viewing for everyone who is about to retire.

Thanks Pete, one of your videos a few months ago about the bucket strategy (re-iterated here as well) has made me totally change my portfolio. I am retiring in ummm 120 days (not counting - really), and the portfolio now stands at year 1 cash, year 2 premium bonds, year 3-5 20/80 split between a passive cautious fund and a wealth preservation fund, years 6-10 in a 60/40 again split between a passive 60/40 and a managed fund, years 10+ split between a passive world tracker, an adventurous fund, bit of gold, commodities and the normal tranche of SMT, Lindsell, Fundsmith etc. Rebalancing each year, yes there are costs to do this, but the whole lot comes out at 0.45% cost (platform, transaction costs and OCFs). I can't thank you enough. I did buy your book as a thank you.

Uncle Pete, again this is a good informative video and appreciate the insight of behavioural issues. Thank you....

If I have any money left at 85 I have failed my retirement.
