Such a tasty track. So good to travel, taking the bus from the highlands to Edinburgh with a sunny -2 degrees to busk in the city, this gave me the inspiration for the day despite the cold. Thanks Mark ❤
Daniel Porter is so great at piano solos in my opinion. Not to say he's bad at more synth-y solos, because he's still great at those too, but between his piano solo on this and the one on Naptime from this album, I really can't wait to see more of his piano solos. Maybe even get him to record one on the actual grand piano on new album or something? ;) Also, it always amazes me how Wes "sings" with his bass guitar on Montreal solos in particular.
@@mjlettierisometimes I like to roll back the vol to sweeten the top end. Interesting how there’s many variations as you roll back. I use compression (cali76) to pull the output back up.
@@JoshMyersBand links are in the video description - this tune is exclusive to the vinyl release, though! The PRS amp is an HX 20. Thanks for watching!
@@JTonthedrums im not against appreciating him now. Lets be honest, he doesnt have a huge fanbase because he is not making popular songs. Maybe he is making the most elegant instrumental music right now in my opinion. Most of this kind of musicians doesnt get the appreciation they deserve when they are active. Will the next generations appreciate more than we do? Thats what im thinking about.
@@7asrodney Before you start criticizing something you may want to know a little bit about what you’re critiquing. That part you so elegantly and respectfully pointing out with the emojis is a simple musical exchange called improvising. It’s me(drums) reacting to the keys soloing, pushing the energy of his solo. We’re not playing parts. Still don’t get it or like it, fine! Just don’t be a Jerk!
Absolutely love the groove at the end of this tune. ❤
It’s not every day that the live version is *slower* than the album version. So freaking tasty! Thank you! And what a monster keys solo. Wow.
Thank you for this music, I love it ❤️
Nobody plays baritone better than Mark! And he's going back to the Iridium! FANTASTIK!!!!!

JT casually tuning his snare at the top of the piano solo.
Live gig... gotta do what you gotta do!
@@JTonthedrums get it done man. Whatever it takes. Greatness.
Is that the best bass tone I've ever heard? The stain in my trousers seems to suggest as much...
Magnificent.

What a simply beautiful clean tone!
I’m grabbing my Sugar Moon Fiore and trying to match the sound.
Watching close at the pickup selection.
Thanks! It's the neck/middle fourth position, probably with the tone rolled back a little.

Am interesting ,imaginative gtrist I've not heard before. His use of baritone sets him apart.
The song that sent me over the moon and made me want to play better and quit at the same time
Bass and guitar parts awesome, keyboard and drums overplaying 🫤
Not at all, not my style!
