The Turkey is back on the menu today boys in the newest HOI4 episode where Tommy continues his struggles to get the last of Turkey and Ottoman Empire achievements. In this specific one we are going to be putting the band back together where the 3 Empires will reunite to conquer the world and save TommyKay's brain from exploding because of this 100% Achievement Series. This game has really done wonders to him, honestly, I think he has dropped like 80 IQ over the last 4 years playing this game. No one knows how low IQ will be able to get and we are watching it live for free on youtube! Man, what a good world we live in nowadays!

I did this achievement first run. Just did shitty 20’s with rushed max arty, then transitioned to tanks and did 7-2’s with 40w tanks. No air. Also did it with only three research’s as this was when the patch first dropped. Took me forever though, till 1950’s.
yeah, rushing better weapons tech is what's killing Tommy here. I saw that he started researching 1939 guns in 1940 as well. The other thing is that he should focus on consolidating the ex-British colonies, since he has focuses to core their territory, and get tons of manpower for it. By the time I'm fucking with the Yugos or Italians I usually have several 40w armies on the field, with fucktons of planes

I feel current patch 14/4s aren't that useful, the AI spamming divisions and mass assault seems to be really good currently. I think that 12 14/4 divisions and 48 20W Pure Infantry Divisions is better early game, Then Later Game 14/4s combined with 40W Medium Tanks seem to push quite well.
Though I Feel like encirclements are even more important now than ever, if you get down the AI's divisions per tile a tonne its then a rollover. It can go from losing, losing, losing, losing, then suddenly you are winning a tonne and you can win the war in pretty much one push.
I think if he just waits Austro Hungary will join the faction lol

If you give the AI enough time they will actually make 14-4 divisions, I've seen it before. I think that's what you were fighting and you didn't have enough air to slow them down.

Turkey's the biggest problem was indeed manpower, even including Ottoman era such as in 1914 there were 13 million Turks in Anatolia while there were 166 million people in Russian empire and UK was controlling over a billion people!! During WW1 and Turkish war of independence 3 million Turkish people lost their lives because of the war and spanish flu etc so in 1923 there were only around 10 million people in Turkey which increased to only 17 million in 1940 while there were 80 million people in Germany in 1939!! So it is pretty historically accurate that Turkey can't recruit millions of soldiers during WW2 but even then i think there should be some bonuses for Turkey as Turkish enlistment rate was always much much higher than other nations such as Ottoman armies reached 3 million soldiers during WW1 which was like 20% of entire population...

They really should add the ability to save in Ironman for achievements as reloading would save so much time when doing this achievement and other rng based achievements like protect Czechoslovakia for Hungary

the divisions tommy was fighting were not infantry with only support anti tank, if you looked when it's zoomed in on the units you can see that there is also artillery in the divisions , meaning that 14-4's could not beat them easily, I just think needs to update his way of playing, and he needs to look closer ig, cuz he didn't notice the artillery in the polish divisions .

When you’re fighting an equal or stronger enemy you shouldn’t make all your divisions good, if you spread them out equally on the frontline you can’t push anywhere. It’s better to make two templates, one for defensive divisions along the front, with more defense, organization and HP, and one for offensive divisions concentrated on a specific point of the frontline, with more soft attack and breakthrough. If you’re using only infantry and artillery you can make your defensive divisions 40w pure infantry, and your offensive divisions 40w infantry/artillery with 8 battalions of each
Or just have good infantry for the lines and really good medium tanks to break the lines

You seem to rely too much on 14/4 divisions. Sometimes quantity is better than quality. Having 38 7/2 divisions instead of 19 14/4s would have allowed you to launch naval invasions agaisnt romania, distracting their units by making large, easy to hold front lines along their coast while just walking through them on the bulgarian border.
