I also bought one of these fine pistols. I LOVE the look of the rosewood grips but they are a little thick. I replaced them with Hogue G10 Damascus Piranha grips in black and grey. This thinned down the grip, increased the feel for me and they look awesome. I also added a Viridian X5L to the rail. This is a beautiful build and will spend the rest of my life with me at my side.
I understand your excitement. I went to the range/FFL just to shoot & no sooner than I walked through the doors the owner yells out my name & tells me he's got the perfect gun for me. It was the Sig P-229 Legion. I've been saving for the Sig P-229 Stainless Elite but after holding the Legion & negotiating with owner he knocked off $70 it came home w/me. Just this past Xmas my wife surprised me w/the P-229 Stainless Elite in .40 life is good what a gorgeous gun. Can't wait to hit the range tomorrow.
I just picked this gun up. The grips look fat but it still feels great in the hand. I can't wait to get this to the range. The SRT trigger is outstanding. It's one of the most beautiful guns I have ever owned and seen. My Sig 1911 Emperor Scorpion is close tho. I love Sigs
"SWEET",I've got that same gun on layaway, mine is chambered in 40 S&W,and I can't wait to get it out next month, also I'm going to get the P226 in 9MM and P220 in 45 ACP both in STAINLESS ELITE,i love these weapon's,and I am not going to change anything about them I'm keeping mine original,NICE CLOSE VIDEO,THANX!
tacuazinful I've had the all black version of the Enhanced Elite for about 3.5 years now. I've put just over 4000 rounds through it (factory, reloads, and JHPs) at this point and have never had an FTE. I my experience, the long extractor performs just fine.
I have an older one with a legacy slide in 357 and 40 with rose wood grips and sig select discontinued grips and 3 mags brand new sig X-ray 3 night sights and a sig custom shop leather carry case from 2008…full steel rosewood grips mint condition 2200 Comment your email if interested 🫡 Legacy slide with the short ejector is the rarest…

Good looking pistol. I recently picked up the 229Enhanced Elite. These pistols are easy to shoot very well.
looks great man - I have the 229 like this on order, it has scalloped serrations right (not the traditional ones)?

@weaponsandgear Great! sent me the light and you are good to go. ;-)
Didn't know much about Sigs until recently. They are beautiful guns.
No safety check? What if the ammo fairies secretly loaded it while you were driving it home?
how many rounds does it hold? some advertise 13 and some 15.
extraction problems?? (long extractors are cheaper and less reliable than the shorter past ones)

if you think this fits like a glove then you havent tried the walther ppq m2 pistol.
I agree. I have both and they are the best grips in the business. The Sig is much prettier tho.
pretty gun but the slide to frame fit looks sloppy at the back. does it rattle?
you must be kidding right? -obviously you've never held a SIG. They are among the finest, well made guns in the world. SIG's slides are tight fitting.
John Tomai I think somebody is jealous of you
Full slide assembly, cannot beat that.
Nice! Just like mine.
That's a knockout!
how much did you pay for it?
nice
Nice toy man
Do you know anyone willing to sell their Sig P229 all stainless steel elite? Thank you.
Try gunbroker. They are becoming very rare. As soon as you see one jump on it.
I just got a holster mold for this exact gun. just sayin'. :-)
