i used to have the Smpltrek, and by the fact that it hadn't lfo and synth capabilities in general, i used the midi feedback trick; now i'm seeing that the 12xt share a very similar midi setting. Cool to know. Thanks.
yep! i discovered the midi feedback trick when i was doing research for my video on how to use this device for synthesis. i plan on doing a deeper dive into it and how to set up multi voice synth patches by controlling multiple tracks with a single pad. so much potential on this device!
Watching now......the chop comment is spot on. If you can use the back and forth button to scroll through midi chops surely you could do it with samples on the XT. Like the BlackBox you can slice til you can't slice any more

EXCELLENT! I was struggling with this the other day, and finally gave up LOL. I'll try again tonight after watching your video. Keep 'em coming!
@@sierragold heck yea, hope you get it working!
I'm interested in using my Roland J6 to control the Lofi 12 XT. Gonna try it later and see how it goes. Thanks for the video, keep em coming!

exactly! slice til you can't slice anymore, or "chop til you drop" lol
@Jay_Maculate chop til you drop function please Sonicware :)
Hey Jay, thank you for another great video! Are you still doing a video on FX for melodic samples?
You're welcome! Yep, that one is still on my list - i was debating to what work on next, thanks for helping me make a decision!
Agree that sonicware needs to add the slice mode be extended through additional page access like on an MPC. No reason it shouldn’t.
@@BloodmoneyPerez412 exactly!
@ appreciate all your videos though on this device. You’re killing it.
@BloodmoneyPerez412 thanks, that means a lot!!
