The international trailer is a completely different trailer.... A lot are saying it's actually the better trailer. You also get to see more of James Acaster...he even gets a line in the voice-over.
International trailers usually are.

My dudes, you NEED to watch the International Trailer too. It’s completely different. It’s far less reliant on poking nostalgia and focuses more on the actual movie - and I’m now REALLY excited for it after seeing it! It looks like they’re nailing it! Watch it!! 😅
The fact they said they took some inspiration from the cartoon show makes my soul happy! The cartoon is what hooked me as a kid. green flags all over this movie. The real trick now is not to get overhyped.

Day 1...my most anticipated movie of the year. I'm doing a rewatch of all three movies soon, even though I know all of them by heart at this point.
Just seen it at the theater and yes. Worth every dime. You will enjoy!
I love the original style design of the ghosts that look like from the first movie and some of the original ghosts
My partner isn't even a full ghostbusters fan but after watching this trailer she was like "I know what we're gonna see this summer!"
I think AfterLife was just to introduce the new characters first so now they can do the more call back movie people want

I loved "Ghostbusters: Afterlife". And I'm very excited for this movie.
Love the return of the "Afterlife" cast. Along with the return of Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, and Dan Aykroyd. And also the return of William Atherton as Walter Peck(from the original first movie). Hoping to see Venkman and Peck face off again. Their confrontations in the first movie are so entertaining. LOL! And I love seeing Annie Potts' character Janine in a Ghostbusters suit in this one. I think that Janine was part of the Ghostbusters team in the cartoon.
You guys should definitely check out the International trailer as well. Lots more great footage.
I was skeptical about Ghostbusters: Afterlife then I saw it and it was amazing! So excited for this one!
Only trailer I'll watch five days from now am about to experience a magic i felt during afterlife and one that's been missing almost my entire life ❤this franchise is literally that special to me and I can't wait to once again take my daughter to the cinema and absolutely go nuts😂❤ I can't wait. Ghostbusters truly is that special ❤

Yeah i sent a "tweet" yesterday to your channel to not bother with the US domestic trailer & only watch the International trailer.
It's sooooo much better at understanding what movie they've actually made here
Gil Kenan was a great choice for this sequel. Sometimes they pick directors and you wonder why. Besides co-writing Afterlife he's directed 'Monster House', the Poltergeist remake, City of Ember and an episode of the Scream TV series. He knows monsters both the animated and scary type. City of Ember has an incredible almost ethereal quality that fits this kind of movie. He can do scary in a way that works for all ages while still creating tension. I feel like Jason Reitman wanted to honour his dad but knew he wouldn't stick around after Afterlife so brought Gil in at the start so there'd be a continuity in writing as well as having a director who can handle the material who was there from the start. Nice to see that while they probably didn't assume a prequel would happen everything was in place to give it the best chance so it didn't have to start over with a whole new team.
Definitely check out the international trailer next!
You have to watch the International Trailer! This Trailer is all about Memberberries and funny Stuff. In the International Trailer you see a lot more Story stuff and is actually pretty scary.

It's an underrated gem.
Sure, did it repeat the same beats as the first? Absolutely. But the tech, uniforms, Ecto 1A, and even the cinematography seemed bigger and better.

So right - the filmmakers and figured it out. They learned from the mistakes of the Star Wars new trilogy and others. It’s going to be one helluva movie. 😊
The American Trailer is just that...overwhelmingly American, catering purely to American fans' emotional connection to the characters.
The International Trailer is selling the actual story and film, and it looks awesome.

This looks like it's gonna be fun... the only thing I worry about is them never moving fully to the next gen Busters. This franchise should keep going, and at some point it will have to go on without the original cast.
Official Prediction: A character will be seemingly killed off by the big bad with their "fear power" only to come back in the final act and say "I ain't scared of no ghost" before taking it down for good.
Maybe Lucky because she did look like she was being frozen at one point in the trailer.
the USA trailer is better because it showcases the long awaited and big returns this time in big roles with Walter Peck, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, and a new look CGI Slimer too!
So I have to say I rate Ghostbusters 2. However, it has been so long since then. I can not wait for this!!!🎉
