@SrinivasGanesh thanks for making great content! But going by that re needs to come up with a high compression short stroke liquid cooled parallel twins which rev over 10k rpms to go with those lcds 😆. The selling point behind the 650 and 350 lineup is the lazy retro classic engine and aesthetics. The 450s are the modern motorcycle in the lineup and the lcds do look good on them. Just my opinion.

I hope it is an 850. I would not want that frame but I am salivating for a bigger engine from RE. A 750 would not take me far enough from the Interceptor I have. Which is already bliss on two wheels.

Is it definitely coming out in Feb? It felt like we waited a long time for the bear and the classic 650 after initial spy shots. Having said that, this looks like a significant upgrade on the current model
I think it will touch that price point. but you never know, RE might release a cheaper paint scheme, like single tone colour etc and the custom paint ones will be like INR4.5L.
Still no USD forks so wobbling issue might occur. They could have at least given the USD's in the upgraded version. It would give better stability and would make the bike look slightly bulkier.
I love that they are launching a new model so they clear their left over 2024’s with special prices and I can finally justify a second toy with a lovely solo seat. Basically I will finally get my dream bike 😍😍😍😍😍
Hahah that is a good perspective, I too am thinking of going for a motorcycle that would solely be used for weekend, short rides. And nothing comes close to either Continental GT, a Triumph Speed Twin 1200 or a Triumph Thruxton 1200
I reckon this will be a 60-70 hp bike (they have been able to push it up to 85) in which case it will be placed along side the current model as a elder sibling and it will be priced above 4 ex showroom
My thoughts on this. I'm sure analog dials are not coming back since they are moving to the new digital cluster on almost every bike. Fairing definitely needs rework since taller riders will hit the knee on that fairing. I guess the tail light and indicators might be temporarily fixed for testing purposes so it could change. Dual discs do look good and fairing does add to the charm and looks of the bike but hopefully they somehow reduce the weight in other segments otherwise interceptor will feel like a logical option for me personally. Hopefully we get some news about this new engine in upcoming months. Can't wait for this bike to lauch.
Rightly said. And like I mentioned, because of the aggressive riding position this is a fun bike to ride albeit not for longer duration. Interceptor seems like a practical option. This to me, is like having a bike in your garage only for leisure riding.
The new interceptor must be liquid-cooled, and a multipoint fuel injection should be done with electronic throttle control. Two rider modes, 6-speed with Dual-Dial Instrumentation with Multi-Function LCD.
Looks like the same number board side panels as the bear has, which is guess is a race-themed thing to go with the fairing and not just grabbed out of the top of an engineering parts pin. I'm suprised to see conventional forks though, I was expecting the next gen Interceptor and GT to get the Showa upside down ones. I don't think this will stop me ordering a Bear as soon as I can here in NZ.
Sometime later in 2025. Though I would suggest to take multiple test rides and get a feel of how the bike is. And if you want, might as well go for a second hand GT650. But all in all I cant wait for Royal Enfield to release that thing I would love an Himalayan 850 because I'm also quite tall (209cm).
I mean I understand the news here is basically the new fairing (Let's call her Continental R or something like that) but tbh I like my cafe racers without the fairing more and at best with double analog dash. So for me the real exciting news is just the new engine still 😅 if I would have to make a tier list which bike I would be most excited for it would be Himalayan 850, Bear 850, Continental GT 850, Shotgun 850 and than maybe Continental R 850
Bakwaas not like model's
Hmm
Waiting for GT R450
Maybe it comes who knows. 🫣
Is triumph going to launch the thruxton 400 or not, plz tell me bruh
I have no idea. :( They might, given that they are making products for the mid segment motorcycle market in India.
