@@sommeseremvictor9657 this is a very good video sir. Can you please tell me where i can get all the tables and graphs you show in ur video? I will like to do some practice
Naung Thaw you are welcome sir,,am going to launch a new channel that deals purely on civil engineering designs, implementations and any other additional contents relevant to the proffesion. Will keep you posted
Thank you LBD. Sorry that I don't have the link now but will share it as soon as I get it. Meanwhile, you can check the recommendation from Gifford and Partners 1997 on concrete mix design
can u pls tell me if we replace the fine aggregate with another material having density higher then the fine aggregate , and replacemetn is 10 %, 20%, 30 and 50%. what changes in the whole procedure I have to do.
I have a question, if my coarse aggregates are crushed and fine aggregates are uncrushed, the free water content I need to use the formula below the table, but maximum fine aggregate size is 10mm right?
Calvin Lim The crushed or uncrushed state of aggregates only applies to course aggregates in the design. This is simply meant to help you approximate the free water content required in the mix
Personally, I wouldn't recommend you to use cement class 32.5..this type of cement is reserved for concrete works that are of low structural strength importance,,however for critical structural works, cement class 42.5 and 52.5 are highly recommended
7 years later and you have saved me a great deal. Thank you so much!
I was conducting a research on the thesis, but watching this video saved me a lot of time. it was amazing........
This was VERYYYYYYYY HELPFUL....I learnt everything that I failed to learn from my institute

Wonderful and helpful video for Concrete Mix Design , thank you.
Thanks for your explanation! It helps me alot!
I swear your the best , god bless you, thank u thank u thank u 🙌🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
tq... much appreciated.. it is very useful and well explained..
Thanks. A very educative piece.
You were on point brother. Very helpful
Thank you so much sir you just saved a soul 😊💃🏽💃🏽
this is perfect, man! Thank you so much.

Sir why did you say we were not given characteristic strength and that was why you used 8 as standard deviation. That part is not clear
Good to help others with self initiation...Be blessed
Fikru Kinfu Your feedback is appreciated
very very very useful for students. Thank you so much
thank you very much sir keep up the good work hope to see more videos from you..
Great explanation
Very helpful content. Thanks a lot 🙏
You sir are the best!
Good.

It is more helpfull for me thank you so much
Perfect, great explanation.
Thanks alot
O thank you so much for this quick through concrete design mix procdure.
your ex[planaton was just perfect.
make more videos on lab test.
You are much welcomed, feel free to send me an email
Great,, working on standard soil test and asphalt concrete
Great work man.! Keep it up...
What a wonderful video. Perfecto!
Amazing video thank you
you are a great man, thank you.
Awesome. Thanks
Great explanation.
Thank you Nasir
Clear explanation, thank u sir
A great piece
Thank you very much for the video.
Dang, thanks dude. that was amazing!
Thank you, sir.
Please, do you have a video on generating the concrete mix design when given an additional material like fly ash ?
GOOD STUFF👌👌
keep up with the good work
Nice video , but i know your my fellow from east africa ... ..thank you sir
Yes. You are right Cathrine
So perfect thank you sir
Thank you sir, it helped a lot

Thanks for the good work (Y)
Ahmad Hany You welcome sir
Why u not make more videos on concrete.
you helped a lot, thank you
your explanation is excellent can you please tell which standards codes you are using
This DoE mix design. british Standard
Shaik,, kindly check the concrete mix design recommendations by Gifford and Partners -1997
Thank you👏
what if its 1 to 1.3 to 3 how to calculate the propration of coarse aggregate
Good work. Thanks.
🙏
Thank you! the video was very useful and understandable.
Thank you very much it is very useful tutorial, can you please share tables that you where using or any link where I can download them.
Thank you LBD. Sorry that I don't have the link now but will share it as soon as I get it. Meanwhile, you can check the recommendation from Gifford and Partners 1997 on concrete mix design
damn cool i get this explanation and thz u man !
LM Kyaw no don't take the average.Instead, take maximum aggregate size to be 40mm. Thanks for the feedback.
How to know the trial mix?
Nice. Man .
can u pls tell me if we replace the fine aggregate with another material having density higher then the fine aggregate , and replacemetn is 10 %, 20%, 30 and 50%. what changes in the whole procedure I have to do.
Thank you 🙏🏻 you saved me
thank you this vid really helpful
well explained
thanks for the feedback abdallah Ali and mussadiq. you will have it soon. appreciate that
You're a fucking genius mate. thanks for your help sir.

What's the book's name sir?
are you from upm
I need that British DOE code pdf book please give me the download link thanks.
Can anyone kindly tell me how to get all the tables and graphs in this video?
I have a question, if my coarse aggregates are crushed and fine aggregates are uncrushed, the free water content I need to use the formula below the table, but maximum fine aggregate size is 10mm right?
Calvin Lim sorry I didn't get your question.Kindly rephrase it to make sure that I give you accurate feedback.
Calvin Lim The crushed or uncrushed state of aggregates only applies to course aggregates in the design. This is simply meant to help you approximate the free water content required in the mix
thankyou so much, you help me a lot
very good, thanks a lot m8
Thank you so much
hello. can u please drop the pdfs with the graphs
if your cement strength class is 32.5, how will calculate for the compressive strength under 28days
Interpolate
Personally, I wouldn't recommend you to use cement class 32.5..this type of cement is reserved for concrete works that are of low structural strength importance,,however for critical structural works, cement class 42.5 and 52.5 are highly recommended
Simplified.
Thanks
Thanks alot...
Thanks sir but frome where i found this table and also graph plz sir help me tell about that....
Pakistani Tubers You can get all of these graphs from BS code.(British standard codes)
Pakistani Tubers You wlcm
Pakistani,, kindly check the recommendation from Gifford and partners of 1997. With much regards
gooood work pleez i need concrete mix design uesd ACI method ,,,,, if you have asphalt mix design marshal method pleeez help me
Abdallah Ali it will take me some time to do so, kindly bear with me. thanks for the feedback
I can guide you through the asphalt mix design, Marshall method. Hope it will be of help to you
bien hecho
what if the aggregate size is 30 ie. between 20 and 40? we take an average ?
Faris Bhatti no in such a case, you are allowed to adopt a max aggregate size of 40mm instead
Thank you
Thanku sir
