I purchased the pearl white one. Been playing guitar for over 20 years and I can attest that this Tele is legit. It's a fabulous value and it SCREAMS! 💯
Been playing a telecaster for 30 years. Bought the pearl white one for something different to go with my other guitars and was surprised. It's not a bad quality for the price. I've enjoyed it so far. Got it the first week they came out.

I’ve just paid for the white version on a bit of whim and it should arrive in a couple of days. I was only browsing around because my Iceman has a date with my luthier for a fret dress and a set of Devin Townsend signature pups to be installed 🤘🏼he’s in high demand so it’s a four week turnaround before I’ll have her back. After seeing this and a few other reviews I’m stoked to have stumbled across this model Tele. This is has been my favourite review so far, thanks so much!

they're great! just upgraded the electronics
I just bought the gold version of this Tele. Wow! It's shockingly good. The detail to the neck is incredible at this price point--bound neck, roasted, bigger frets, painted headstock with chrome logo! It feels very comfortable but, of course, the sound--it's great from these pickups. I really think the Contemporary line from Squier is Fender's (successful) attempt to give us an affordable Charvel. They nailed it with the appointments, the sleek styling, and the sound performance.

Forreal, cheaper guitars back in the day were insane and garbage. Now? You really have to cheap out to get a bad guitar. They're all pretty solid. I just ordered one of these and i can't fuggin wait. It sounds and looks so damn good
Just got one....sounds great for any style. And the playability of this guitar is fantastic. I love the roasted maple neck...wow..it stays in tune too...the sustain is phenomenal

I was a bit iffy about these guitars because they were made in China but they look amazing and every review I've seen is positive.
for the price. I'd say grab one. there not perfect but it doesn't feel Chinese

I agree with you. Years ago a Chinese guitar wasn’t even on my radar. Now? You can come across very nice Chinese guitars but you gotta be picky.

@@MannyMarvelous I've been playing acoustic for the last 2 years or so and my grandfather just bought a $1600 strat and I'm kinda jealous but also don't necessarily want a strat or to spend $1600 lmao so this seems perfect
another great guitar would be a charvel telecaster they're in like the 800 range but they're really amazing guitars and they're like if fender was actually modern

When you switched the plate around …did you switch the tone n volume pots and rotate the switch? I’m doing that this morning.
yes. you'll have to resolder it so it fits
I got one in gold. Ot must have been the last guitar that evening. Action and setup is really rough. Sent it to a luthier and it needs a shim. Bit of a shame cos it's a cool guitar.

I guess that happens still but I rarely see it. still though this is great how far this mod range has come since 15 years ago
a $400-500 guitar shouldn't be that messed up . no excuse by the manufacturer...but China doesn't give two craps and neither does fender in the US as long as they keep selling.

You switched the control plate to traditional tele style. Why ?
just personal preference. also wanted to see if the neck pup was splitable (it is). the backwards way just looks a bit off to me

Have you tried some really high gain rhythm tones for the rail pickup? Can it handle it? I play desert/kraut rock/fuzz and am looking to get this guitar when it’s back in stock but can’t really find videos where people are demoing this guitar with dist pedals (like proco rat, od-1 etc)
If you could do something like that it would be fantastic!
I'm sure I'll get some more audio recorded with it but from messing around I actually really like your rail pickup. I do suggest switching to 500k pots though to unlock a little more top end as it comes with 250k from the factory. the rail is about 9.8k if I remember

if by issues you mean the wires were backwards then I had to rewire it just a little bit but it's still the stock wiring
It comes reversed from factory
Did you flip the controls?
yes I did. they come inverted stock and I set that back to classic layout

I tried this guitar in my local shop, the strings were too close from each other for my likings ^^
you'll like the vintage spacing more then. this is modern spacing
