Same but £6k i just can’t afford to spend on a suit. I got a made to measure which was expensive but about 1/4 of the price of a fully bespoke & it’s incredible.
Terry's sense of humor deeply resonates with me and I find him effortlessly hilarious. My enjoyment is further elevated when Kirby jumps in and gives it back to him. Lovely gentleman all!
I had a relationship with my tailor like this. She was so old school in making alterations and garmets. She passed from breast cancer some years ago. Seeing these vids reminda me of her. Ty Kirby
The John Kent suit is a certified banger! Such a lovley cut and it fits Kirby beautifully. The new linen suit and shirt are gorgeous as well but that true classic look of the Kent is something else 👌
A beautiful suit and a fantastic process, thanks for sharing this with us Kirby, i hope sometime you will come to Dublin to check out some of our fine clothes and makers.
Still saving to have full morning dress and a crisp white shirt made at KH&L, so excited for the process to begin once I hit the saving goal. Masters of their craft!
What a beautiful suit. I've always wanted a linen suit. I never knew or thought about the weight of the linen being a factor with the wrinkles. That's really good information.
I love every video with the Kent, Haste, and Lachter crew! Especially the pattern-making and cutting videos. Such masters of their craft and all seen like lovely people. Wonderful to watch and try and learn a few pointers about tailoring.
"Asymmetric shoulders, incredibly hollow back and the stoop forward. All things my wife loves." Kirby 🤣🤣🤣 "My figure is diabolical." Mr. Lacther😂😂😂 Love the craftsmanship. But the self roasting was hilarious. Great series.
It's amazing watching these guys at work, but it's also really interesting to watch your interactions with them and the conversations you have. I think you have built a really good relationship with them. By the way, that linen suit looks amazing. Nice heavy material, which I cant unsee. Every other linen suit will now look inferior.
That is an amazing suit and the shirt is a perfect fit. I’m trying to imagine it with a nice tie but to be perfectly honest I feel I like the casual look with out the tie. Thank you for sharing this experience.
I really enjoy these videos. These tailors are excellent and I love learning about suit making from them. The suits are always amazing no matter who makes them but I do love the linen!!
I always watch these bespoke commission series: Kent & Haste, Henry Poole, Sartorial Gallo/Jensen, etc. multiple times. Living vicariously through you Mr. Kirby.
I really wanted to see Kirby pick the perfect tie for this shirt pattern and jacket colour. I was very interested in the thought process. Nice vid, great work!
Congratulations on your third suit from Kent Haste & Lachter. I am usually not a fan of linen cloth but this suit looks great. And the shirt looks fantastic.
Not a menswear/bespoke connoisseur by any means but this might honestly be the best suit/shirt combo I’ve seen on here yet. The pieces sit so well & I like the color aesthetic of both garments.
John’s suit is such a great suit 👏🏻. Personally I feel that the only place for a monogram on a shirt is on the front seam and below the waist so it remains unseen during wear. It’s not Showpard! 😂 but very funny in any case. Stephen’s collar really works well and the new suit is great too.
When you put the jacket on I was like “WOW”. That linen is the cats meow! Wonderful fit and it looks fantastic. I love the way the shirt collar and sleeves behave and merge with the jacket.
I'm making my plans for a business trip to London. Kirby's knowledge has helped me be all I deserve to be. 1st stop .... Trufitt and Hill 2nd stop .... Davidoff 3rd stop .... Huntsman
Hi Kirby, Thank you for your bespoke tailoring sartorial splendor educational RUclips videos. Next time, please talk about the suit jacket's lining and inside pockets. All the best to you, Eric Prentis
Yeah. I found the three button single vent with patch pockets a bit surprising as well, but I trusted Terry and went out in a limb. And it paid off big!
Agreed we’ll deserved for her!!! I’m in holiday as well, only took 2 years and a mental breakdown before my boss decided to approve I can have time off :/.
Thank you for this episode. The three of them seem like very nice people. I’ve never heard of this tailoring house before. And thank you for promoting higher waist trousers. I personally can’t stand seeing low sitting skinny pants anymore. It’s a ridiculous fashion that refuses to disappear. One would think it should have disappeared quickly, like the infamous flared bell bottoms disappeared after only a few years, but the skinny low waisted pant look persists despite the designers actually trying to push the wider silhouette. Most men just refuse to wear higher wasted and wider trousers, thinking that this will, somehow, make them look older and less “sexy”, I guess. What ignorance and a lack of basic understanding of shape, balance, proportions, and form.
The fit and style of the jacket looks fantastic except for the collar gap and the wide lapels. Like King Charles, I also prefer jetted pockets rather than patched. The trousers looks very nice except for the 2 inch cuffs
Beautiful suit. But do I detect the slightest of collar gaps? I have been looking forward to this one. So it made today the perfect Saturday when it dropped. I put it up on the big screen, poured myself a good measure of Laphroaig Quarter Cask, lit a Montechristo (the wife's away!) and let it wash over me. Best half hour in a long time (well, since the last one at least). Very well done, but a small continuity error in the edit: In the closeup shot of the trousers at 20'37 Kirby is suddenly wearing the coat, even though we haven't got to it yet! In the following shot he's in his shirt sleaves again. A very, very minor complaint, I admit. Kirby's channel is undoubtedly the best sartorial (and general gentlemanny persuits) channel on youtube! Period. Support it via Patrion, I have done for quite a long time now an it's definitely worth it!
You’re the best! Thank you! Knowing that I have people such as yourselves who know how to enjoy these videos in style makes the hard work to film and edit them with it!
I see what you mean. I think with a linen suit there’s that tricky seesaw between creating a body shape that is flattering coupled with a sense of casualness. There’s a forgiveness with linen summer suits, however at the same time only so much a light fabric can do whilst staying breathable. Kirby is fairly static in the video for obvious reasons but in reality he’ll be dynamic and gestural so the suit’s roominess will work well under genuine social conditions I think.
I think it's just the shoulder construction they use giving this impression. This suit does look really great but having been to Italy just now, I still prefer the summer suits from Italy. Soft shoulders and rounder patches just go too well with the summer fabrics.
Oh, wait, wait, wait, that reminds me something, which movie; oh, I see, the Great Gatsby, the Great Kirby, in that linen you look like the Great Gatsby, the Great Kirby (I'm sorry), I told you than, you are a great actor, and all these little players constitute, I mean substitute, as important pieces for the entire play. I study Dogen's philosophy of enlightenment, you know what Dogen thought about that, the greatest enlightened person is the person at the same time greatly deluded. What is greatness indeed without the Great Kirby, that's the question of the century!
The shirt collar looks really nice and the cut is great too. But what disturbs me is that The stripes on the shirt yoke don't match the sleeves. That's disappointing coming from a renowned bespoke tailoring house. The suit looks really good too! The fit, the pockets top notch. Just not a fan of the short lapels and 3 button style
Flat front trousers always look cheap to me. The big billowing pleats don't look nice, but form-fitting pleats, that's the elegance right there. I'm pleased to see that pleat are "back" in general. But I really dislike patch pockets. It what the cheapest nastiest secondary school blazers use. Just a big nope from me on that. But the trousers look very, very good.
If that suit looks this good on camera I can only imagine what it looks like in person. Splendid work here from Kent Haste.
Indeed! Even better in person!
After watching this series I really want to get a suit made by these guys. Wonderful people.
Same but £6k i just can’t afford to spend on a suit. I got a made to measure which was expensive but about 1/4 of the price of a fully bespoke & it’s incredible.
Fantastic suit and great banter from the tailors. They need their own show.
The best!
Terry's sense of humor deeply resonates with me and I find him effortlessly hilarious. My enjoyment is further elevated when Kirby jumps in and gives it back to him. Lovely gentleman all!

That suit is Magnificent. The fit is glorious, thank you Kirby. Great video. Perfect for summer viewing.
It might possibly be my favorite suit! However, every suit that Terry has made always becomes my favorite… until he makes the next one! 😂😅
Always enjoy the banter with Kent Haste & Lachter!
They’re the best!
The suit and shirt are great examples of craftsmanship at its best.
Seeing the two of them work together was incredible! The suit and shirt were delivered perfect together!
Bucket list worthy!
the suit reflects the casual style and easy going banter of the whole video, great stuff
It was a brilliant suit for this trip to Italy!
The suit is beyond words. Pure craftsmanship. In addition how beautiful is this lady ?
What a beautiful suit. I've always wanted a linen suit. I never knew or thought about the weight of the linen being a factor with the wrinkles. That's really good information.
Yes! Heavyweight linen “rolls”
I love every video with the Kent, Haste, and Lachter crew! Especially the pattern-making and cutting videos. Such masters of their craft and all seen like lovely people. Wonderful to watch and try and learn a few pointers about tailoring.
I love filming them!
"Asymmetric shoulders, incredibly hollow back and the stoop forward. All things my wife loves." Kirby 🤣🤣🤣
"My figure is diabolical." Mr. Lacther😂😂😂
Love the craftsmanship.
The suit you are wearing and the new suit are so perfect. Crazy good. Miss the young lady who does the trousers. For the extra banter.
OMG... WOW!! 😊 I THINK THIS IS MY FAVORITE YET, MAGNIFICENT SHIRT AND DRAPE.... WOW❤😢
That is an amazing suit and the shirt is a perfect fit. I’m trying to imagine it with a nice tie but to be perfectly honest I feel I like the casual look with out the tie. Thank you for sharing this experience.
"With Terry I don't mind because he forgets who he is" Lol. Beautiful outfit. Great suit and shirt combination.
I really enjoy these videos. These tailors are excellent and I love learning about suit making from them. The suits are always amazing no matter who makes them but I do love the linen!!

Congratulations on your third suit from Kent Haste & Lachter. I am usually not a fan of linen cloth but this suit looks great. And the shirt looks fantastic.
Great stuff kirby..I have enjoyed every minute of Kent Haste & Lachter..what an exquisite yet elegant complement from you at the end of the video
3-2 roll, patch pockets, linen cloth, centre vent !
Absolutely fabulous
Kirby I’m off to London
Not a menswear/bespoke connoisseur by any means but this might honestly be the best suit/shirt combo I’ve seen on here yet. The pieces sit so well & I like the color aesthetic of both garments.
Loved the tailoring team banter; great suit and shirt ensemble, Kirby. Incredible craftmanship.
Not sure about the banter 😅 but the craftsmanship sure is great!
Haha. Great video and even better banter all round. 😂👏
Looking fantastic as usual Kirby. 👌🔥
I am firmly against monograms in shirt cuffs, but I do feel that the monogram above the waistband to be subtle and elegant.
That suit is incredible. What a great episode, this is ASMR for me.
You deserve 1 million subscribers and I deserve a share in your company!
😁
That Coller sitting higher is perfect for that style, high and proud... just gorgeous kirbs!!!!😊😊😊
Beautiful shade of blue
When you put the jacket on I was like “WOW”. That linen is the cats meow! Wonderful fit and it looks fantastic. I love the way the shirt collar and sleeves behave and merge with the jacket.
Yeah! The jacket is beautiful! And the best thing is that it has excellent structure! Feels amazing!
Absolutely, very grand, good noble Sir. ✨💜🎩💜✨🥂✨🍾✨🥂✨💜🎩💜✨👌🏻
Absolutely, have excellent afternoon. ✨💜🎩💜✨👌🏻
I miss John!!! Is he doing better? I like the banter between him and Terry! The subtle jokes never stop with these old school Britts! haha
I know! Would be wonderful to get him back! We should start sending him petition letters!
Another K H & L gem is revealed.. Mollie! Are there more?! 💎
curious 1. did you go with a full canvass, half canvass, or unstructured and why?
2. why did you elect to go fully lined with a linen suit?
I'm making my plans for a business trip to London. Kirby's knowledge has helped me be all I deserve to be.
1st stop .... Trufitt and Hill
2nd stop .... Davidoff
3rd stop .... Huntsman
Make sure you tell everyone hello!
4th stop Floris if it was my trip.
Trufitt are great
After a long day of shopping, I'd recommend a martini at Duke's as well.
OH BEAUTIFUL 😍 🤩 👌
Fantastic video. Wonderfully friendly and humerus tailors!
Hi Kirby,
Thank you for your bespoke tailoring sartorial splendor educational RUclips videos.

All the best to you,

Beautiful combination of suit and shirt
I know! Great choices by Terry and Stephen!
Stellar piece of tailoring!
fire suit wow! even better with no tie.
my god that's a perfectly tailored jacket
I work 6 day week in overalls and don’t have a chance of wearing great clothes but maybe when I retire I’ll be able to wear great suits so cool 😎
Can always wear a suit to church on Sunday!
@@kirbyallison yes respect
Great video Kirby
Beautiful suit and cut
Most I've ever seen Kirby SMILE....
Kirby, you’re are saving lives and relationships my friend.
Keep going 🎉
What's the T-Bar looking gold thing through the lapel please? Is it a pocket watch or just a chain?
too bad Suyamba isn't there tho 😔 but great suit ! 🏆
I was skeptical of this suit but its turned out well
Yeah. I found the three button single vent with patch pockets a bit surprising as well, but I trusted Terry and went out in a limb. And it paid off big!
Kirby reminds me of a modern day 'Elliott Templeton' with way too many suits! LOL.
Great humor these two..
I'm a tailor too in some little ways, I love tales, Hasty and Lighter.
Their stories are the best!
Wait did Terry say that was one of John's last suits? Did something happen?
Oh, Suyamba went on holiday. Well deserved.
Agreed we’ll deserved for her!!! I’m in holiday as well, only took 2 years and a mental breakdown before my boss decided to approve I can have time off :/.
Haha.
@@nativeamericanwillhope you get better mentally during your time away
That is a great color.

how much does it cost to get a shirt made by Steven?
Can most of these shops design suits for the portly?
Kirby looks like the million dollar man, give him a raise.
Great video
Спасибо за видео и за вашу работу
Beautiful suit.
What is a 12/13? In ounces?
The fit and style of the jacket looks fantastic except for the collar gap and the wide lapels. Like King Charles, I also prefer jetted pockets rather than patched. The trousers looks very nice except for the 2 inch cuffs

Let’s start a list for @Kirby Allison … synonyms for hallmark.
Telltale sign
is the top of the arms connecting to the shoulder too baggy ?
I see what you mean. I think with a linen suit there’s that tricky seesaw between creating a body shape that is flattering coupled with a sense of casualness. I think so, but what do i know. Those shoulder sleeve dimples drive me nuts. Hard pass
Mr Allison, how tall are you, just out of curiosity?
5’10”
Is Mr. Kent no longer working? I heard the word “would” in reference to him a few times.
anybody know the price of one of there suits in 2024/25?
is that W.Bill WB61318?
Not sure! Sorry!
What’s the latest from John (if you’re at liberty to say). His presence has been missed in these recent videos. :(
How much ?
Oh, wait, wait, wait, that reminds me something, which movie; oh, I see, the Great Gatsby, the Great Kirby, in that linen you look like the Great Gatsby, the Great Kirby (I'm sorry), I told you than, you are a great actor, and all these little players constitute, I mean substitute, as important pieces for the entire play. Haha. Very kind!
What would a shirt cost from these gents?
Wonder how many of yall stopped watching when when they said Suyamba’s on vacation lol.
This suit is so fucking clean.
NIce, but where is the viewer's favourite, Sumbaya?
Off on vacation but back for our next video! We are going to film a surprise fitting while they are at their trunk show in New York this October!
John Kent suit makes you look like the leading man of a Hitchcock thriller.
I say those master tailors with the 🇬🇧 London, accent if you have the funds can make you commission a suit 😃
Kirby are you open to sharing who your graphic designer is for your thumbnails? The typography is amazing.
What happened to John??
🥃🎩
Hey Kirby Alison why don't you come to India and stich a Raymond suit ? You won't be disappointed I can bet on that
Show me the Cuba, baby!

As nice as these shirts are, the preeminent maker would be Ascot Chang, who is shirt maker to your own US Presidents.

Good answer..I will be wearing a tan suit 2 church in a few hours..your suit looks fabulous..peace
You know what I first thought when I saw your first video, "What an idiot," but as Dogen would say, things change, and for some people in a good way.
